Let me start by saying that in spite of all the negatives I will be pointing out, this is still a better dishwasher than 85% of those on the market and better than any GE for sure. Design is great. Never seen a larger interior to a dishwasher. the bottom is nearly at the floor enabling the interior to be huge and for even the largest pots and casseroles to easily fit in the bottom tray. Flexibility is great, can move about all the tines and dividers, the silverware basket can be taken apart to place in a host of locations. Good little holders for all small bits and large knives. Stainless steel interior cleans easily and retains heat. Zillions of cycles including a good short wash, a china cycle & a pot scrubber. Many heating and sanitizing options. Negatives: standard cycles are ridiculously long. Bottom tray gets clean, top often does not or has the dirt redistributed to the glasses. I find I must always select "extra rinse" which of course takes even longer. It is rare to have a load that does not require something from the top tray to be re-washed. I had a service person in 2 times. This is normal and as good as it gets! Really? I did not buy the Bosch, with its best reviews, because I thought the inside was too small. They have improved that and now my children are out of the house so the smaller size is okay. Next dishwasher will be a Bosch!

I personally used to wash all my dishes by hand, but then i realized that i don't have enough time and i don't really want to go through the hassle of scrubbing back and forth. I finally just decided that enough is enough. So i just picked up this nice dishwasher and put all my dishes and eating utensils in my dishwasher, gave it a couple of minutes and they come out as clean as they did the first time i bought them! It's honestly an amazing feeling seeing those dirty plates and spoons coming out extremely clean after putting little to no effort. One of the reasons why i picked this dishwasher in particular in the first place, it because i saw that it was rated #1 on this website, with a VERY high rating, and after picking this up, i got to experience it for myself. After having myself a nice meal, i can just pop these in the dishwasher and sit down and relax even more after a long day at school, with all these tests and exams coming up, it's definitely made a pretty big impact on the things i do that i normally wouldn't be able to do with all this free time i have.

I bought this dishwasher on high hopes. I had always heard about Jenn-Air appliances and they came highly recommended by a few people. I bought this in a set with a electric stovetop, microwave, and refridgerator. I paid on the higher end for these appliances because of the name and thought if I bought lower end stuff it would break sooner. Upon having this for only one month the dishwasher was already malfunctioning and it was cleaning my dishes there would always be this thick white film on my dishes and they were not getting clean. Then one day it just broke and I had to hire a repair man to come out and fix it which was not cheap. Needless to say I am not happy with this dishwasher and feel that for the higher price tag it is a big let down. My Jenn-Air microwave is also now malfunctioning though it did take a little longer to break than my dishwasher, the refridgerator seems to be ok but my oven will only work on 400 setting it's super frustrating! Do not recommend this brand!

I've had this dishwasher for over three years. It does really well on most jobs and I can get even large stock pots and serving dishes into it with a little creative arranging. I've broken one wine glass, but it wasn't on a delicate setting, and most things come out already dry if I use the drying cycle. Plastics and things with a dimple on the bottom are still wet. My biggest complaint is that if you have a couple large utensils in the basket it can block the detergent drawer from opening and then you've got to rewash the whole load. Happens maybe once a month. Noise Level Was super quiet when we first installed it. Three years later is is much louder, sometimes obnoxiously so. But we probably just need to have it cleaned out. Cleaning Time Can take a couple hours if you do all the cycles, but worth it if everything comes out clean and dry! Loading Flexibility I can get almost anything into this diswasher :) Performance I have one or two things a week I need to run through a second time, and I don't do much prerinsing. Design Looks great!! Durability Had to replace the door seal once in 3 years because it wouldn't close, and the wheels on the bottom rack pop off easily. They pop right back on too.

Our Jenn Air dishwasher had been installed in our house a month before we moved in. We have had this dishwasher for three years now and it is by far the best dishwasher we have ever owned. It has 9 different options you can use for getting dishes clean. This includes a china option. I was very hesitant because my china happens to be over 100 years old, as it was my great grandmothers. However, my husband accidentally loaded a dish after a holiday and it stood up to the test. Luckily, we had other fragile items in the load and he had run it on the "china/crystal" setting. I now feel very confident putting all of my china in this dishwasher. However, it can also get out tough yuckky messes and caked on grease from the dirtiest dish as well. It is so quiet that sometimes it is hard to tell it is running. In fact, on more than one ocassion, someone has accidentally opened the dishwasher up to add another dish while it was running. I will leave that for you to decide if that is a plus or minus. We only had a little water leak out of the dishwasher and then it goes back to running where it left off. The dishwasher has an LED display on the inside so it is hard to determine where the dishwasher is in it's cycle. I also like the steam clean mode. As far as I can tell, the only hard decision as to whether to buy this product is if you are going to pay the price for the convenience of such an awesome machine!
