Jeep Liberty Urban Terrain 3-Wheel Stroller —

We started out our daughter's life with a standard Graco travel system. I have very few complaints in regards to that item, but it quickly became something that moved down in terms of usefulness. I needed an air-filled stroller that could handle not-so-great city street. I also didn't want to get stuck in snow-ruts in case it should snow. Bigger tires, a better recline, etc.

But there was no way I was paying over $200 for a stroller. I think those items are purely for status, and I don't need status. I need a good stroller that will not break the bank.

I was searching through Amazon when I came to the Jeep Liberty Limited Urban Terrain jogger-style stroller. They were offering it for a little over $100, and I could not refuse that. It isn't overly masculine or feminine, so I can use it for my daughter and then use it for a future child who may or may not be a son. It has a steering wheel toy that attaches to the tray, and has distracted and provided my daughter with something to do while I'm running errands.

The cup holders are a little smaller than what I expected - I cannot put a bottle of water or soda in them, but I tend to put those in my bag, so that doesn't matter much to me. The bottom basket is wonderfully sized, and is a great help when we stop at the grocery store on the way home. The seat reclines almost fully flat, which is excellent for sleeping babes.

The tires need to be fully filled on a regular basis. There is a hand pump provided, but eventually the seals on the pump will start to go, and it will take forever to get those tires nice and hard. I suggest buying a better bicycle pump that will accomodate a Shraeder vavle (that is the type of valve that is on the tires), or making regular stops at a bike store so they can fill you up. Most bikes stores - if not all - will provide air for free. I am lucky enough to have a real bike pump and to live in between two excellent bike shops. You might want to buy back-ups of the tires as well.

The wheels will squeak at some point. A quick blast of WD-40 will fix that in a second.

One thing I don't quite like about it is that it does not fold up to be very small. You will need a good amount of room to store this, and if you are going somewhere, you will need a big trunk.

This is not an actual jogger stroller - it is merely a jogger-style stroller. So if you are a runner, DO NOT BUY THIS TO JOG WITH.

I cannot recommend this stroller enough. It is fantastic, and an unbelievable bargain for the money.
