Jeep Liberty - 2004 Review

northshore, there are 4 of us that have Liberty's and 3 were an electrical nightmare. I turned in my lease, and although I loved the vehicle, the electric problems were a nightmare. I leased for 4 years, a winter car only, turned it in with 32,000 mls. When I tuned it in, the electric mirrors would work on and off, the rear door lock sometimes would not work, that engine light problem, and sometimes the dash would light up all icons like Las Vegas, stay on for 10 minutes or so and then go out. Also, the passenger airbag light (on/off) sometimes worked and other times didn't. I have been told by people that Daimler Chrysler is infamous for electrical problems. It is their weakness. I personally would never own another because of this. AND they had the worst customer service than any car mfg I have ever dealt with. And I mean headquarters not the local dealer. Good Luck!
