THE SUV WORK HORSE
The Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 2004 is the 3rd Jeep Grand Cherokee I have owned. To say the least, I'm a fan of the vehicle. This particular year is a little more cushy and comfy than in years past. It has automatic seat controls to get the perfect driving fit for you and a nice smooth ride for long drives.
As a driver who needs her vehicle every day for work, this is a SUV that consistently comes through. It is reliable, reliable, reliable. One downside I've found to this type of Jeep in general is that they go through brakes more quickly than other vehciles I've had. The big downside to daily city driving is that it does not get good city mileage. If you travel the highways, you'll do okay with gas mileage though!
I also haul a lot of boxes for my job, so need a healthy amount of space. Although the seats do not fold down flat, they fold down about 3/4 of the way, for plenty of space in the back. I just fit 6 6foot submarine sandwiches in there for a work event and still had some room.
Overall, though, a great vehicle for the daily driver who needs a little room to haul stuff, or people (you can fit about 5).
