Jeep Commander - 2007 Reviews

This Jeep is perfect for a growing family.  It has stadium seating that folds down for a large carrying capacity.  I have three kids and there is enough room for them to spread out and be comfortable, so it cuts down on sibling arguments.  The commander has a smooth ride, but the gas mileage is only about eighteen mile per gallon on the highway and a lot worse on the city roads.  But I think all of the pros far out weigh the cons.  I would recommend this truck to anyone who… read full review »

I actually won this car for a hole in one during a golf tournament, so we didn't shop around for it. Overall we are very impressed by the car and don't have very many complaints. The only things we would like to change is the gas mileage, although in all actuality ours is not getting bad gas mileage compared to other SUV's. The other is the cargo room. This vehicle has given us so many problems we were without it for a month because service can't figure out what is wrong with it. There are problems with the transmission that they can not fix. When you change gears you hear a loug clunk and also it vibrates (alot) when idle. If I was at a stop light it would go below 500rpms's and would act like it was going to shut off (actually it did a couple of times) I've only had this vehicle for not even 2 yrs! GREAT CAR AND A GREAT VALUE ESPECIALLY IF YOU HAVE LEASED OR OWNED A JEEP BEFORE AND CAN GET THE LOYALTY . YOU CAN SAVE ALMOST TWO GRAND! tHE CON IS THAT THE THIRD ROW SEATS ARE ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO FIT INTO . BUT IT SO MUCH NICER THAN MY 04 GRAND CHERROKEE .
