Repairs have been minimal, other than a front end collission accident and another time where I spun out on a snowy highway and clobbered the back. Both times only required minimal repairs. I've also been rear-ended before, but the steel bumper stays solid and only needs to be repained. Major regular repairs involved a water pump locking up (rare in Jeeps, faulty part) and a cracked manifold.... review »
I have had my Jeep for 13 years now,
and have done some serious 4x4 driving with it,
and have done a cross country trip with it
last year all the way out to BurningMan.
She has 175,000+ miles on her now.
And I can tell ya, crossing the desert in a 12+ year
old American made car, did have me concerned.
Note also, I had a bunch of sculpture tied to the roof,
which caused a lot of wind drag and stress.
She performed beautifully,
and we bonded in that 5000 mile trip!
She takes me camping placed, others would never dare go.
And I have been able to pull trucks/with trailers attached,
out of the mud with it too....
I am crazy about my jeep , it's the best vehicle i've ever owned it is esy to handle rides great and throw down the back seat and it hauls like a truck , I moved an entire household of furniture and you wouldn't believ how much stuff you can fit in the back of a cherokee 5 stars for the jeep hiphip hoooray!
