Jeep Umbrella Stroller is the Best

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

Putting a large stroller into the trunk of a car can be a pain in the neck. Not only can they be cumbersome to use and fold up, but they take up a lot of space. I have never been a fan of the less expensive umbrella strollers, but when a relative let us use their Jeep All Terrain Umbrella Stroller for a few weeks I had a change of heart.

What I didn't like about this kind of stroller was the fact that they didn't have any storage areas, no cup holders, and they didn't recline. Well, Jeep has solved all of those issues! This stroller does have a cup holder, and two small pockets that hang down on each side of the stroller. It has two positions, sitting upright and slightly reclined, a...

FINALLY an umbrella stroller for tall people!

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

I'm 5'11'' and my husband is 6'4'' so finding a cheap umbrella stroller that doesn't cause us to bend half way over is quite a challenge.  Sure they have the strollers that are over $100 that have taller handles but I just wanted something for a lower price that I wouldn't mind tossing in the trunk or getting tossed around when we fly somewhere.  I found this one for about $35 at Walmart which isn't bad for an umbrella stroller that acutally has handles high enough for someone as tall as myself.  I don't use the shade very much because it pops off when I fold up the stroller but I do like the little pockets on the side.  I put treats in one side for my daughter and a...

Great light weight travel stroller!

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

I bought this stroller to replace a Especially Baby stroller from Babies R Us. The Jeep stroller is not too short for dads to handle and not too tall for moms either. It is very versatile. My only complaint is that the Canopy and the Cup Holder does not stay attached well when the stroller folds up.

I am 5'4" and my husband is 5'10" and we both are able to comfortably push the stroller. The height is good, however, my husband sometimes has to watch his stride because he sometimes ends up kicking the stroller with his feet while he walks.

It has a very nice back on it that can recline (not much). It also rolls up to provide airflow and a pillow in the warmer months. leave it down to block the air when it is cooler weather.

We took the stroller all through DC on the Metro and on various sidewalks. It had great control. We even took it into the woods for a walk and it was very stable as well.

LOVE the Jeep Umbrella Stroller!

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

This Jeep All Terrain Umbrella Stroller has been so great for us. We were given the Jeep jogging stroller but it was too big to even fit in our trunk so we could only use it around the neighborhood. We also have a Graco stroller that fits the Graco infant car seat. That has been great but is still a bit big - we can't travel with it because it takes up too much room in the trunk. This Jeep Umbrella Stroller has been the perfect answer for us. It folds up very compactly so is very easy to travel with. It is great quality and provides a smooth ride for the baby. One thing I really like is that the seat padding can be removed so that the baby is leaning on a mesh material. This is perfect for us as we live in Alabama, so the summers get hot and the baby often sweats in these strollers. It has a nice cover that you can adjust to shield the baby from the sun. One thing that would be nice is if the seat reclined and was a bit bigger. It seems as though she may outgrow the stroller quickly.

good for short adults

Overall
Rated 3 out of 5

after my baby got done riding around the used Graco we got second hand, we were looking for something lighter and easier to maneuver. that's when i ran across the Jeep All Terrain Stroller by Kolcraft. this stroller has everything in features and value. it is super light and easy to fold and carry and pick up. folds with one hand and can be picked up while holding baby.best of all, its an all terrain stroller that can handle our urban broken sidewalks and the mall and gravel paths at the Botanical Garden all with ease of an SUV. no wonder, as it is from Jeep! suspenshion and shocks on each wheel leg, though funny at first, really do the trick!my only con about this, and this is the reason we...

The Jeep Umbrella Stroller is great for the price.

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

I love my Jeep Umbrella strollers. I have two kids and they each have their own, which is so much easier than a larger and bulkier double stroller. My kids both love sitting in these and can do so for long time periods. I can take these just about anywhere including in the dirt and rocks. That being said, watch out for mud and snow or anything thick that would cause the wheels to get stuck. They are better quality than most but should not be confused for off road capable:) These strollers come with two small bags on the side as well as an adult cup holder which is nice since many umbrella strollers don't come with any features. Their is also a sunshield that is adjustable but it is o...

Not my favorite stroller

Overall
Rated 3 out of 5

The Jeep All Terrain Umbrella Stroller is not a favorite of the many strollers I own. We wanted something to replace the bulky graco stroller we had, but we wanted a decent, not cheap, umbrella stroller. We opted for this stroller and was somewhat happy with it. It did not replace our graco, as I still love the storage the graco provides, but the jeep stroller was handy for times when we did not have a lot of trunk space. It is very small and portable, not to mention, very lightweight. I love that is it easy to manuever in small spaces, but I hate that it does not have much storage. The side pockets are sort of a joke as they frequently come off and hold very little. My husband hates using t...

A little on the flimsy side

Overall
Rated 3 out of 5

We bought this stroller a few years ago to take on airplane and through the airport- we wanted something small and compact for our trip.  The stroller does fold up small and is really user friendly as far as getting it closed and open but for some reason we found it a little uncomfortable to push around.  There are a couple little velcro storage compartments on the sides and we found them to be more in the way than helpful.  I will say that it was relatively inexpensive and it is a light compact stroller.  We have a heavy duty stroller that our car seat drops into that we use on a regular basis but for the purpose of traveling this is an OK stroller.  We used it at sea world and it is small enough to fit through all the doorways, gift shops and exhibits.  My middle daughter was 2 1/2 at the time and she looked comfortable in it and didn't complain.  The fabric and frame has held up without any problems.

The Jeep All Terrain Umbrella Stroller is worth the buy

Overall
Rated 3 out of 5

When you don't have a lot of room in your car to put in a stroller for your toddler, that is when you pruchase this Jeep All Terrain stroller. It folds up very small and compact and can fit most places. I like how the back base can roll up has a head rest and offer some ventilation at the same time. There is a five point harness which gives the child added safety.  The two small comparts are an ok size on each side of the stroller. If they were a little larger it would be better. I am able to fit a small drink and a diaper in each one but I did have to but a little backpack to put on the back to hold more baby stuff.  The foot rest seems to be enough to hold my child's legs. The only real problem I had with this particular stroller is that the seat itself did not recline at all. So when my child falls asleep, he has a hard time keeping his head up. I do recommend this stroller because it is compact, light and a great traveling companion.

Really cute, but not very functional

Overall
Rated 2 out of 5

I needed a lightweight umbrella stroller to replace my carseat carrier.  I bought this one, mostly because I thought it was so cute - brown and pink - was relatively easy to open and close, and very light.  However, I have hated this stroller so much that I usually end up hauling out my jogging stroller, no matter how tight of spaces I know I'll need to manuever through.

There is NO storage on this stroller.  Yes, it has cute little sidebags, but I haven't yet needed to carry anything small enough to actually fit into the bags.  The top canopy never stays on when it's folded.  As a result, it is somewhere in my garage and never makes it back onto the stroller.  I also dislike the seat belt system.  Mine has only a belt around the child's waist, not over the shoulder.  My daughter leans WAY forward, trying to get out of the stroller, and sometimes, I'm afraid that she'll actually tip it over!

I'm not sure what would be better, but I'd definitely steer clear of this one!

Great for on the go!

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

This stroller is great!  It folds easily and compactly so that I actually keep it in the back of my car for those times when you didn't know you would need a stroller. The convertible back flap is nice for all types of weather - it's especially nice to have the vented back in the summer to keep the little ones from sweating too much.  The saddlebags are great for holding a water bottle or diaper and wipes.  It would be nice if it had more storage but you can easily hang the diaper bag or purchases over the handles - just watch when your child gets out because it will tip over backwards if there is anything left hanging on the handles. The only downside was that mine didn't come with a cup holder so I had to add an after market one and we're on our second one--it's not real sturdy.  It moves easily over different terrains without a lot of effort. It definitely isn't as nice as a regular stroller but for an umbrella stroller it is wonderful.

Jeep all terrain in pink was the best for different height

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

I have searched for a long time to find the perfect umbrella stroller for my daughter who is my second child.  I wanted more storage space.  I have reviewed many of these and this is far the best one and the price is even the best.  I bought the pink and it has so much storage under the seat, plus it has extra storage by the handles, which I might add is the best because you can adjust the height.  It comes with two holders for drinks which is great for an umbrella stroller.  The storage bag by the handles has a zipper storage for keys and money and cell phones plus a mesh pocket on the outside for additional storage.  Then the seat is extra large so the child has room to move, the back has a panel that can be rolled down for a breathable mesh to allow air flow to the kids back.  It has a removeable sun cover that can be repositioned to where ever the sun is hitting the child.  There is a nice sturdy piece of plasic for a foot rest.  I love this!!!

Jeep All Terrain Umbrella Stroller rolls over the competition!

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

The Jeep All Terrain Umbrella Stroller is one of the best purchases I have made. I thought I was fin just  getting one of the cheep umbrella strollers but my sister-in-law recommended this one. I checked it out and immediately knew it was the one to get. It is well made and sturdy.  It is light to carr and easy to pack in the car.  It has two saddle bags which are perfect carrying snacks, diapers, keys, etc.  The back can be rolled up to make a head rest and gives a mesh back for hotter days.  The canopy is smaller than I would like it to be so it does not provide as much shade as I would like.  It is easy to open and designed to not have to use your hands (you can use your foot) so you don't have to worry about pinching your fingers.  It is designed to stay closed once you close it and it won't just pop open on you when you take it out of the car.  This strooler cost more than the cheap umbrella strollers but it is worth it!

This is a perfect stroller for on the go!

Durable, practical umbrella stroller.

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

We bought the Jeep All-terrain Umbrella stroller just before going to Disney World with our son for the first time.  All we had at that point was the bulky regular stroller we had gotten when he was born and we didn't want to be lugging that on the plane with us!  The Jeep stroller caught our eye because it is a bit more durable and strong than the really cheap umbrella strollers.  It also had a few nice features that we liked - the back cushion can roll up, making a pillow of sorts and exposing the mesh on the back of the seat that helps air get to the child's back.  Also, there are two pouches on the sides that we used for a sippy cup or snacks - helpful because that's ...

A good second stroller

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

This is a great little stroller. I bought it to take with us on a road trip, because it would fit in our trunk much easier than our Graco Passage Travel System. We have had this stroller for almost two years and haven't had any major problems with it.

It is generally a good stroller, and is what you would expect from an inexpensive umbrella stroller. I find that it is a little short, even for me (I am 5'3") and I have to be careful not to kick the wheels while pushing it. It is especially awkward for my husband (who is 5'10") to push. Another thing that bothers me about this stroller is that it is too short to put my diaper bag on the handle (it touches the wheels), which is an inconv...
