I borrowed this book from a friend and had a hard time wanting to read it--thinking it would be sad and depressing.  However, once I stopped staring at the cover for weeks, I could not put it down until I had read the book cover to cover.  What an amazing and inspirational story.  Imagine living a life where you are constantly on the move, with homelessness lurking at every corner.  This family experiences that, and yet, the daughter makes it seem like such a normal, well maybe not normal, but commonplace way to live.  Although she has problems at different times in her life with how she is living, she still has the ability to see her father as a kind and loving man who is doing the best he can.  I absolutely loved this book, and sad and touching it can be, it was more inspirational to me--makes me want to rise above my own lame tests in life and be a person who can persevere.
