Quick View: I like these moist facial wipes, especially the exfoliating side. However, they're just too small to remove a face full of makeup and daily grime. Good for on the god but not for daily use for me.

About Jean Pierre Cosmetics Exfoliating Dual Sided Facial Cleansing Pads with Gentle Microbeads

These moist facial cleansing wipes come 16 to a package for about $2.00. The pads are square and about two inches - could be a bit more, I didn't measure them but they are small. They are infused with cucumber, Aloe Vera, chamomile, and green tea leaf extracts. They come in a little green plastic pouch with a sticky overlay to pull out individual pads.

One side of the pad is smooth and the other has green bumps on it which exfoliate the skin. They're just moist enough to effectively cleanse without being drippy. The scent is pleasant and not overwhelming.

I love the exfoliation I get with Jean Pierre Cosmetics Exfoliating Dual Sided Facial Cleansing Pads. These aren't too harsh yet they definitely clean deep down. The amount of dirt and yuckiness that is on the pads is proof that they do, indeed, really clean well. The problem is, the pads are so small! If they were twice the size, they would be my favorite cleansing pads. But because they are so small, I feel like I used a pad up before I am done taking all of my makeup off. On a non-made up face, these pads work just fine. They're invigorating and leave my skin feeling fresh and not sticky.

The price is decent although I wish they came in larger amounts than 16. The company touts this pouch of pads as "purse size" which it is. But who is going to cleanse their face on the go? Once my makeup is on and I'm out, I don't stop and wipe it all off and start again.

If you use very little makeup or none, these pads may be perfect for you. The smooth side cleanses around the eyes and the bumpy side really gets to the pores and cleanses deep down. I will buy these pads again but won't use them to remove makeup. I'll use them to freshen up in the morning or when outside sans makeup in the heat. I wish they were bigger both in size and in the amounts per pouch but I'll take what I can get.

My Viewpoint

Jean Pierre Cosmetics Exfoliating Dual Sided Facial Cleansing Pads are refreshing and really do a good job cleansing my face. Although they are a bit too small to effectively remove a day's worth if makeup (especially if I try to use them to remove mascara too), they're good to have on hand. I am still going with 4 stars because I love the results and the exfoliation I get when I use these. I just will use them as I outlined above.

If they were double the size, I would use ONLY those. They really work well but they're teeeeny.

Never heard of this brand. Why is it I wonder that all the different cleansing pads out there are so small?

Check out my review for the Walmart Equate exfoliating make-up cloths. I love them and they even do well to remove my mascara and eyeliner. I use them before bathing so that I don't get the make-up on my expensive washcloths.
