This is an original limestone tavern from 1762. It is such an incredible experience and Bedford, Pennsylvania is such a beautiful county. For anyone who gets the chance to be in this area it is an absolute must to experience the Jean Bonnett. No fast frozen food here! No way it is all freshly prepared by very meticulous chefs. The finest food and they even sport their own herb garden outside their kitchen. It offers overnight accomodations if you are lucky enough to get a room! The tavern and bar ar located on the 2nd floor (which you get to by a circular stairway) from the dining room. It is so unique and has original wood floors with beautiful woodwork and beading trim. The hired help are so very friendly and helpful you would feel as though you knew them for a long time. The Dining foyer and front dining area boasts the most beautiful open hearth with benches for the patrons to warm up to over the cold winter.
