Jason Palmer Review

The Case

The first time I saw a print done by Jason Palmer, it was love at first sight. That particular print, a beautiful portrait of the crew from the television show, Firefly, now hangs proudly on my wall, surrounded by a good number of other Palmer drawings. Every piece of artwork that Jason produces is absolutely gorgeous. He's phenomenal.

The Good

I never get over the way this man can capture the flavor of people and characters. Their faces, their attitudes, their mannerisms, their posture - he always nails every aspect. And his finished products are beautiful. The colors and the layouts compliment the subjects in every way possible. I'm so thankful that Jason's work is reasonably priced, too. I'm able to enjoy his art from my own home, even though I'm relatively unwealthy.

The medium that Jason pulls much of his subject matter from is media and entertainment. The majority of his work is right up the alley of sci-fi fans, convention-goers, and comic lovers, of which I am all of the above - that's probably why I love the guy's stuff so much! And the most important thing is that he loves it, too. You can see in every print that Jason Palmer is thrilled to death to be doing what he's doing.

The Bad

His stuff is so good, I wish he could have new art every week! Unfortunately, true masterpieces take time...

The Verdict

Five stars! When it comes to fantastic artwork of my beloved characters, I go to Jason Palmer first and foremost every time!
