    — Janet Evanovich is one my favorite authors.  She is a very funny down to earth lady who pours lots of humor and excitement in to her books. — Ms. Evanovich's most popular series is the Stephanie Plum series, many fans call this the number series.  Stephanie Plum is the lead character in this series.  Stephanie is a female bounty hunter who is in love with two different men, her on again off again long time boyfriend Trenton, NJ detective Joe Morrelli, and her bounty hunter mentor, the mysterious, dark and sexy Ranger.  — The Plum… read full review »

I just absolutely love Janet Evanovich's book from the between the numbers to the Plum series.  Who couldn't love the gun totting grandmother, the ex hooker who helps/hinders Plum on her attempt to get the convicts, and Stephanie herself who is so untrained and bumbles through all her escapades but always lands her man/woman.  Also, can we talk about the hunky guys who are just in love with Stephanie and how they keep you foaming at the mouth each time they enter her books.  If you never read Janet Evanovich pick her up you will absolutely love her and can't put any of her… read full review »

I have read many of her books both the Stephanie Plum stories and others and I have never been disappointed except when the book is finished. You never know what her characters are going to get into but it is always funny, often sexy and keeps you turning the pages. Try one of her books if you just want to be entertained not if you want a serious story. They will make you realize that your life is not as crazy as… read full review »

Janet Evanovich writes some of the best books that I have ever read.  Her Stephanie Plum series is hilarious.   I love that Grandma has to go to funerals to get her cookie fix!!  Some of the funniest moments in these books happen with Stephanie and Grandma.  I wish she could write faster so that way she could have more of them come out.  I love to read and reread them.  I wish that she would make movies out of this series.  I think they would be awesome!!!!! —… read full review »

Janet Evanovich write hilarious books! — Not question about it-I will read anything she writes. — I'd recomend this for all ages of woman-as long as your old enough to know about sex-your old enough to read these books! — Her stories are so easy to relate to and imagine.  I enjoy reading her books more so than listening to them on an audio book.  You picture yourself on all these adventers-having fun-and being pulled in different directions by two sexy men! — Every girls dream story-except for all the death threats that come her way! —… read full review »

Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum series mysteries are some of the most beloved characters ever.  Her storylines are instantly hooking and when you finish a book, you can't wait to see what Stephanie's next adventure will be.  I frequently find myself laughing aloud at the descriptions Ms. Evanovich gives, whether its the characters themselves or the situations they wind up in.  When I grow up, I wanna be just like Stephanie… read full review »

I am never disappointed in Janet Evanovich. The Stephanie Plum/Numbers series is excellent.  The "between the numbers" are good, as well. The characters in the Stephanie Plum series are so well done. When reading I feel like I can envision what they look like and contemplate which popular actors would fit them in a movie version.  I laugh out loud when reading these books.  Each book is a really fun… read full review »

I love her books. The Plum series were some of the best books, if not the best, I have ever read. She puts a lot of humor and excitement into her books. She is one of my favorite authors, once I pick up one of her books you can't get my nose out of it. Her characters have a lot of spunk and personality. She creates a great story line in every one of her books, if only there were more… read full review »

The Stephanie Plum character is fascanating.  Janet keeps you feeling the character — from the first book.  I laugh all the way through it and when I read in public I must look like — a loon but it is hard to keep from smiling at the very least. —… read full review »

If you're looking for a fun read on the beach or by the fireplace, pick up a Janet Evanovich novel.  The numbered ones are the Stephanie Plum series, and they are my favorites.  I believe there are 14 of them now, including "Visions of Sugar Plums."  Stephanie Plum makes me feel good about my own life!  Set in Trenton, NJ, Stephanie Plum is a bumbling bounty hunter surrounded by a wacky cast of characters, some of whom work with her and some of whom she's chasing.  She has 2 men in her life, one she loves and two she lusts after.  Grandma and Lula are my 2… read full review »

My sister is to blame for the funny looks I now get when I choose to take a Janet Evanovich book out in public.  We were sharing a quiet day reading but she kept laughing out loud so often I stole the book from her.  And have been reading her ever since. — The Sephanie Plum series is the best IMO.  This combines laughter, romance (and lust :), mystery and attitude all in one.  Stephanie is a female bounty hunter that has more luck and attitude than skill.  She also happens to have some great friends and family to help her out.  More than one reader will… read full review »

Back in early September I was casually talking to someone about books. She suggested that I check out Janet Evanovich. Well she was so convincing I visited the library that day and picked up the first 2 books in the Stephanie Plum series. At first I was skeptical about the idea of the female bounty hunter and didn't have high hopes. After the first chapter I knew I was going to settle in for a great fun adventure. Janet continues to add interesting characters each story of the series, from her some times butt-kicking assistant and ex-ho Lula; to her wild grannie who shot the turkey at dinner… read full review »

I picked up one of Janet Evanovichs books a couple of years ago and quickly started reading all of the Stephanie Plum books.  I think I had them all read in about 3 months and was anxiously awaiting the arrival of the Twelfth book, which I bought the first week it was out and the hardcover version which I NEVER EVER buy.  The only exception to this is Harry Potter. —  These books are so much fun to read and you find yourself becoming one of the characters in the books and feeling empathy towards them.  I, myself, adore Stephanie Plum and cannot decide who she should… read full review »

I love her books they make you laugh out loud and think.  She has great story lines and her characters Stephanie Plum and the Grandma are just great.  I have at least 10 of her books both Stephanie Plum and the ones she did before and I have read them more than twice.  The whole triangle with Stephanie, Joe, and Ranger make you wonder what is going to happen next and her ability to get in so much trouble and having her car exploding so many times make you feel for her.  You pity her poor mother who hids her drink in the kitchen… read full review »
