This book has been very helpful for me.  My husband and I recently became foster parents to a two year old boy.  Reading this book has helped me understand why boys like the things they like, and why letting him be a "boy" is good for him.  The information is well researched and documented; easy to read; and there is information about applying the knowledge in raising a son.  As an added bonus it has helped me understand my husband better!

The minute I became pregnant I just knew it would be a boy. I don't know how or why but I was right. I read this book during my pregnancy & read it again during my sons first year. I will continue to use is as a resource & refer back to it when needed. I find it helpful to know my role and my husbands role in raising a son. This book is a must read for any parent.
