Friendliest Island in the Caribbean

interested in cultural experiences, off the beaten path, family traveler, amateur photographer, not rich, expecting good, fair service, love to travel, an avid and frequent traveler

For those of you who love the sand and sea, Jamaica is for you! The people are always smiling, the food is fabulous and the Caribbean is breathtaking. All the major airlines service this island as well as Air Jamaica and always be on the lookout for special fares. Don't just settle for staying in Montego Bay. Venture out to Ocho Rios or Negril where the beaches are less crowded. Make sure to visit the local straw markets and bargain for the best prices with the locals. Jamaica is an absolutely gorgeous country. The people there are extremely friendly and the culture is amazing. We stayed in Ocho Rios at the RIU Resort & loved it!!! The Jamaican people are so friendly despite the fact that most of them live in poverty, it is a beaituful country, but very poor. It makes you appreciate what we have back home and how lucky we are. I recommend coming here to EVERYONE!!

Such a beautiful place and little time to see it all, i Love this country, it's just different ...i don't know what it is but the air is so sweet there, so different and unique onlike any other,Many Jamaican people are very generous and warm...some things to do there Hiking, camping, snorkeling, horse back riding, backpacking, swimming, jet skiing, and sleeping
