Great for any toddler who loes music.

Likes to be entertained, watching with kids, a comedy fan

Over the summer my son was taking swimming lessons at a friend's house. She happened to have had Jack's Big Music Show on TV. My son stopped what he was doing and was mesmerized by this show. I asked my fried about it and she said it was called Jack's Big Music Show and I could find it on Noggin. (Cablevision channel 123).

The first thing I did when I went home was put this show on. I automatically DVR's (or Tivo'd) this program to record daily. I wasn't sure my son was going to still be interested in it. As soon as the first episode started playing I could see my son's eyes light up.

The show is full of music, singing, dancing, skits, etc...His favorite segment is called the "Shwartzmen Quartet". This is when Barber Shop singers come in. This show is all done my puppeteers. I find myself watching as well.

The main characters are Jack and Mary. Jack has a clubhouse in his backyard where all of this takes place. His dog plays the drums. They have famous and not so famous real life singers come on too. The main one is Laurie Berkner. She's great. I heard that she performed a concert in Central Park, NY. I wish I was able to have gone.

The tunes in this show are very catchy. They really keep my son's attention through the whole episode. When it is over my son says, "More Show". Adorable. You can also go on the website. It is interactive with the show. My babysitter played the songs for him on the computer. She didn't know how to work the TV but was able to make my son happy by using the interactive website. How great was that!

Nothing in the show is inappropriate. Everything is perfect for this age. I hope to keep playing this show for for quite a while. He loves it and so do I!

This is one of the few kids shows that I enjoy watching over and over again. My only complaint is that the show airs on Noggin a channel we no longer receive!
