Cumbersome But Fun To Experiment With!
I wasn't really sold on all the bells and whistles of "juicing" when my parents gave me the Jack La Lanne's POWER JUICER, but soon realized how addicting it can be. This machine makes the juicing process so easy, it soon became a sort of science experiment to see what kinds of things I could juice. Citrus? The Power Juicer handled it without breaking a sweat! Carrots? No problem! Leafy fresh herbs? Drink up! Potatoes? Yes...but not recommended. Trust me on that one. I've only had it for seven months now but (as you can probably tell) I pretty severely abuse it and on a pretty regular basis. Regardless, it's still going strong. My only complaint is that it's a bit cumbersome in size (I have to keep it on a shelf in my closet because it won't fit in any of my kitchen cabinets). It's also a bit of a pain to disassemble to clean. There have been times where I opted to use my little hand-juicer simply because I didn't want to deal with pulling this beast out of the closet and wrestling with the assembly. its still worth it when I have a ton of stuff to juice at one time though. Or when I have friends over and want ro show them how to juice a potato.
