JVC - Marshmallow Headphones —

I got these for Christmas and since I use my iPod a lot, had bery high hopes.  Their selling point is that the little thing that goes in your ear molds iteslf to the ear shape.

It came with 4 little moldable attachments to the headphones, which was a good thing because within 2 months, I had lost the first one.  It is now less than 6 months later and another one is gone.  So I am down to the last 2, and one of them is always coming off the headphone, whether it is in my ear and somewhere else.  Thankfully, I have always been able to find it, but I am not always going to be so lucky!

I also did the very unscientific check of the volume (you know, taking it of one ear and then putting it back in and taking it out of the other one) and while they both still work, I can barely hear anything out of one also..

If I had it to do again, and I likely will quite soon, I would get a headphone that is all one piece, because the "attachment" concept just does not work for me.  I wish I could blame it on the kids, but this time, I can't.  If a person only listens to their MP3 in one place, so they always know where something is, then it might work for them.

The squichy part that goes in the ear work OK, but it falls out a lot and I have found that it falls out less if I hold it there longer, to heat up.  Again, more management of the headphones than I would like...

I would NOT recommend these.  They are expensive for headphones ($20) and were something that my DH thought would make a great gift, but I find myself using them because I would feel bad for HIM if I did not.  Run away...
