We have had the JVC - GR-D372U Camcorder for a couple of years and I really like it. We have gotten to preserve so many memories with this camera. It has really good image stabilization which for me is essential. The movies come out really nice with a minimal amount of white noise in the sound. It picks up sound really well too even when it's not very loud. It has a light which helps in low light situations but still like most video or digital cameras, the more light you have the better movies that it takes. The media is a little expensive for it but well worth it. It is easy to use and is light so my arm and hand don't get tired. The controls are easy to use and it has a good zoom. The screen is nice so I can shoot movies at different angles and still see what I am really recording. You can use a tripod or monopod with it too which is really convenient. All in all I have been very pleased with this camcorder.

I simply love this camcorder! I use it for everything. Its compact and easy to store during traveling. Its very user friendly, my 11 year old can use and handle it with no problems. The battery life is excellent. This is a must have. I recommend this to everyone. I was very excited to finally get a camcorder. It was so pretty and I could hardly wait to get going. Well I looked at the instruction manual to get started now. It was so complicated that I had to give up and walk away. It took many hours to digest even the simpliest steps to get started. As a result, I have not used it like I thought I would. A simple, easy to understand for a beginner instruction manual in a must.

I just recently purchased a jvc camcorder maybe not the exact same one listed above, but the camcorder itself is aneat little gadget. I yet have a ways to go as far as operating the camcorder, but overall rating it is good.
