JVC Everio GZMG255 (30 GB) HDD Camcorder Reviews

My granddaughter was coming up to Alaska for a visit so I had to get a video camera.  I did some research and tried out each one at the store.  I decided on the JVC because of the hard disk storage.  I am new to using this camera but so far it has been really easy to use.  I love that it has a large hard drive so I don't have to worry about running out of storage space.  It's extremely lightweight.  It was a bit pricy but well worth the money.

It also takes still pictures which comes in handy when I don't want to fish for my digital camera.  The still pictures are of an acceptable quality...

We looked for the perfect video camera for years and were disappointed with what we found until we ran across this gem. This camera is so great that I cant say enough good about it! It is very reasonably priced and grat for the whole family. It is very durable and the video comes out wonderful. It is easy enough that evnthe kids can use it. It charges easily and the HDD is an absolute must! The JVC everio has a nice screen that is easy to view and trasfers easily to computer for editing. I would defiitely recommend this to anyone lookig for a great vidoe camera.

We wanted a camera to film family moments, and so far, it has been a good choice. The image is good, except when we move around. Then, the image loses some of its quality.

 It is easy to hold and to manipulate while filming. It is small, so carrying it is no hassle.

Videos can be downloaded to the computer easily and quickly. It is great not having to wait the actual length of the recording for it to download.

The software is not so great, as is it is not exactly user friendly.

this was so easy to use. and did not need to keep looking in the booklet to find how something works. had very nice pictures and clear.is light weght . and the price is very good for the product. had not problem with the tade or the way to hook it up to  the recorder.

i would recommend this to anyone who likes a nice and easy product to use.

This JVC camera is easy to use.  Very lightweight, You can buy extra batteries, that have a longer recording time.  Very compact.  User friendly.  Easy to use with just a quick once-over of the manual.  Easy to make videos.  I also like that you don't have to use CD's in the camera.

I had never been good with cameras, either still or video, until I bought this one.  The first time I picked it up and used it, the results were great.  I am so thrilled with this camcorder, I use it and my computer for my still shots.  I hightly recommend it for first timers.
