Every day computer user, somewhat tech savvy, computer literate
My husband and I bought this camera as a Christmas present to ourselves this past year. The camera is very user friendly and is mostly self explanitory (we hardly had to look at the instruction manual) I love how small it is and easy to carry around places. My husbands parents live in Peru and he likes to send DVDs home to them every so often to let them know how life is going. This camera makes it easy to do that. — We also bought the Everio Share Station which allows you to plug the camera right into it and burn a DVD directly from the camera (acts as a regular…

willing to pay for quality, beginner-user, a home owner, cost-conscious, impressed with this product, Every day computer user
My granddaughter was coming up to Alaska for a visit so I had to get a video camera. I did some research and tried out each one at the store. I decided on the JVC because of the hard disk storage. I am new to using this camera but so far it has been really easy to use. I love that it has a large hard drive so I don't have to worry about running out of storage space. It's extremely lightweight. It was a bit pricy but well worth the money. — It also takes still pictures which comes in handy when I don't want to fish for my digital camera. The…

This camera is worth every penny, and the technology used (hard-drive instead of miniDV or DVD) is much easier to use than the others. The hard-drive allows for much greater functionality rather than having to lug around a bunch of miniscule tapes or fragile dvds. Also, the hard-drive's 30gb capacity means you can keep on rolling the video as long as your battery lasts - and there's even additional batteries that you can purchase to help keep the film rolling even longer. The ease and functionality of this little gem give it five stars in my…

We wanted a camera to film family moments, and so far, it has been a good choice. The image is good, except when we move around. Then, the image loses some of its quality. — It is easy to hold and to manipulate while filming. It is small, so carrying it is no hassle. — Videos can be downloaded to the computer easily and quickly. It is great not having to wait the actual length of the recording for it to download. — The software is not so great, as is it is not exactly user friendly. —…

this camera is the best deal overall for the money. We bought an extra battery, and the total cost came to around $575 @ bestbuy over a year ago. the 30 gig HDD is great , as you dont have to full with tapes. it is very easy to upload to your PC to burn on DVD or plugs into any TV with rca jacks to record straight to DVD or VCR tapes.........picture is awesome, and very clear, and it zooms very…

This camera was received as a gift and we are so very greatful! We have never owned a camcorder before and this is so user friendly and we were able to figure it all out in no time. The picture and sound quality is great! The still camera is a little on the fuzzy side (our digital camera is clearer, but that's ok) but the video quality is…
