JCPenney.com — 

Bought the Kid's Package for both of my children and was told they had a two year warranty and would be replaced if anything happened.  Well, my daughter's puppy chewed on her glasses and when I called to ask if it was covered I was assured it was.  Went into the store to order the new ones and THEN was told that I had to pay an additional fee for the replacement, and not because of how they were damaged...that's their policy!  This was never explained to me at the time of purchase or during my phone call.  They wait until I come in to spring it on me.  NOT HAPPY!!!

Plus, the glasses aren't good quality AT ALL!

I would recommend going to Sears Optical, where we usually go.  But JCPenney had a sale...NOT WORTH IT though!

DUH! "Dog chewing" not manufacturing damage or defect!
Take responsibility for your own actions.
HORRIBLE REVIEW - doesn't even mention JCP Optical service or product quality... Just that "Supermom" needs to place blame on anyone other than herrself for not taking proper care of your own things.

Ditto. The anti-reflective coating on my glasses failed twice in 6 months. The 1rst time it was replaced without charge or hassle. When I brought them in the second time i noticed that the frame finish was also peeling, and the earpieces were pock marked. I was told over the phone that there would be a "small service fee" which when I insisted they tell me how much, was told "$6 for the lenses, $12 for the frames. When I got there and ordered the new glasses the total charge was $43. I didn't get the AR coating and asked for a refund of that $25 charge. To no avail.
I'll never go Back to JC Penney Optical, I'm one dissatisfied customer.
