Some of the clothes may cost a little bit more than something you'd get at Walmart or K-Mart BUT the clothes I've bought at JC Penny's are MUCH better quality and last a LOT longer! — — They also have very large shoe sizes, which is GREAT if you have a teenager or older kid who has sized 16 shoes & such! Bought the Kid's Package for both of my children and was told they had a two year warranty and would be replaced if anything happened.  Well, my daughter's puppy chewed on her glasses and when I called to ask if it was covered I was assured it was.  Went into the store to order the new ones and THEN was told that I had to pay an additional fee for the replacement, and not because of how they were damaged...that's their policy!  This was never explained to me at the time of purchase or during my phone call.  They wait until I come in to spring it on me.  NOT HAPPY!!!… read full review »

i love shopping both on-line and walk in stores with Penney's ...I do not like the fact that if you return something bought online you do not get your shipping charges so I always try for free shipping...I get the best deals there...when I am in store most of the clerks are very nice and polite and drop everything they are doing in order for me to feel like I am just making their day just by being in their store...and often times they welcome me back by name which makes me feel really important. — the store is almost alwasy spotless except during really big sales and very buy days when… read full review »

JC Penny's has really come a long way in the products they carry. The quality is much better, their selection is outstanding, and they seem to always try to be up to date on what they carry. They also have started carrying more brands in their stores to help with picking out of a variety of selections. Every time I shop at their stores the customer service is great and their sales help households that are trying to stay on a budget. They also have a great return policy for their customers. They advertise free shipping a lot of times. However, once you shop (I love clearance) you find out that too many exceptions occur. Clearance is rarely included in the free shipping. Read the fine print when shopping at this site. I ordered a lot of stuff here and discovered after I placed the order that free shipping did not apply to any of my purchases. I even called the company to inquire as to the cost. I was told clearance and reduced were excluded. I shop all over the place on line and off, 99% of the time I always find what I'm looking for at JC Pennys.  Whether I hunting on-line or shopping in a mall I always end up at JC Pennys.  They have a huge selection and desiner names.  The quality of all items are fantastic.  When I'm feeling low or I just want to get out of house I will go mall walking and it doen't matter what mall I go to 90% of them have a JC Pennys.  I aways end up there and most of the time walk out with a purchase. —… read full review »

Being in the military, I find it easier to shop online to buy the things I need or want. I been with JcPenney for a good ten years. I shop regularly @ JcPenney. and buy alot of clothes, shoes, accessories, jewelry and gifts from Jcpenney. I have returned a few items for various reasons and didn't have any problems. Shipping is pretty good but can be pricey if you are an APO/FPO address. But then they do offer free shipping from time to time. I like that lots of the ladies clothing comes in Tall Sizes, but I wish it didn't cost more to get the Tall size than the regular or petite sizes. There is generally a good selection of basic clothing and then some. I don't like to pay shipping charges, but they often offer free shipping for "limited time periods", so I just wait until one of those comes along. J C Penney is a great place to shop. There are many name brands to chose froom, there is a wide selection to chose frm. The sales associates are very helpful is locating specific merchandise. The stores are all so neatly kept and organized and the staff so ffiendly. I have found Pennys to be a great store with a large selection of items to choose from. They have many different brands and are all priced at a good price. The stores are clean and easy to shop. I have rarely incountered a rude sales person.  Their online shopping is great also. I always look at jcpennys. I shop there a lot. Sometimes you get better deals in the store than you do on line. That is the only thing I wish was different. people are always sooo freindly.
