I used this with the creative vision mp3, but most mp3 players with the standard jack are compatible.  It comes with a gray carry bag and dc adapter, but you can also use batteries. I used it at a birthday party, and everyone was wondering where that sound was coming from. When I showed them that it was from this gadget, no one could believe it!  I thought of getting the samsung mp3 player with attached speakers but if you already have an mp3 player, or want one with other features, like photo slideshows, fm radio, etc., you should seriously consider this. I got mine from Staples, and got it delivered next day.  I'm very happy with this fold-away speaker system, that you can take with you whenever you want to share your music!
