The Case — When I finally got around to starting the Harry Potter series, I devoured book one. It was with great anticipation that I moved on to book two. I'm happy to report that I enjoyed it quite as much as the first! The second enstallment of Harry Potter aids new characters, not so well rounded as our hero and his friends.  These are the dark characters of Lucius Malfoy and some of his family and friends.  It also itroduces the reader to Dobby a fresh, new and vital character.  Dobby brings life into a story that at first seems to stahl. — Ms. Rowlings does seem to decide on a set course however and by the middle of the book the story is not so confusing.  She leads us through paths of horror and susspense, laughter and tears. — As usuall excellent character development… read full review »

Year two for Harry Potter is destined to be very busy and dangerous. Dobby, the house elf to the Malfoys, tries his very hardest to keep Harry away this year, because he knows what is in store. This was an amazing 2nd year of Harry Potter. It shows more about their magical world and the indtroduction of more magical creatures(elf, phoenix). this also gives the first picture of the early life of Voldemort. the book gets much more dangerous in the final than the last one. this book also introduces more characters and brings the older characters into limelight. Anything Harry Potter is going to be awesoe. This book was a classic beginning to every other book and was great. As a parent you should read these to your kids and you'lll both like them.
