The second enstallment of Harry Potter aids new characters, not so well rounded as our hero and his friends.  These are the dark characters of Lucius Malfoy and some of his family and friends.  It also itroduces the reader to Dobby a fresh, new and vital character.  Dobby brings life into a story that at first seems to stahl.

Ms. Rowlings does seem to decide on a set course however and by the middle of the book the story is not so confusing.  She leads us through paths of horror and susspense, laughter and tears.

As usuall excellent character development and creative story lines leads the reader on a grand parade.  Populated by wizards and muggles a like.

The Secret Chamber is not as tight as the Sorcerer's Stone, but is nontheless a good story and worthwhile read.
