I love ivory body wash, especially the Water Lily scent. I have had problems with using soap in the past because I get hives from some chemical in normal smelly soap. This body wash doesn't make me itch and leaves me feeling very clean. The aloe scent isn't the best but it still works. I love how this doesn't smell like the original ivory as that is very soap smelling (it doesn't make you smell good at all). Effectiveness I use a loofa and have soft water so it works very well. I don't get break outs or oily skin at all from using this body wash. Scent The Aloe scent isn't my favorite but I do like some of their other scents. Water Lily is the best scent in my opinion. I have not tried lavender.

Ivory Body Wash with Aloe, may be a little drying in my opinion, but it makes my kids estatic. Each night during 'bath time', I put a little bit of this under the faucet head, and it produces a mountain of perfect soft bubbles that are perfect for pretending to be pirates while getting so very clean. Each time my kids see this bottle, they get happy and actually excited for their bath. I'm excited that its so easy to get them clean, and that Ivory is one of the most economic soaps around. The fragrance is also not too overpowering, and works great with their sensitive skin. The large 24ounce bottle lasts longer in my home than most bodywashes for my kids, and at the price, I don't mind them using a little more than needed. Ivory leaves the bathroom smelling fresh, my kids clean, and I don't ever have to worry about the soap scrub ring that other children's bubble bath products leave. The aloe takes the product up to another notch, because I'm getting a simple product that is awesome on sensitive skin, that also helps soothe which helps my children sleep. It couldn't be any better.

A million years ago (or maybe 20 or so) we used Ivory soap when we were kids.  With all of the sensitive skin in the house it was one of the only things that didn't irritate one of us or another.  Recently I bought some Ivory bodywash when it was on sale and decided that it would be a trip to my past.  It might also be a good winter option as it was always so gentle on my skin as a kid.  Boy was I ever wrong.  Ivory body wash was nothing like the bar soap.  It smelled funny. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't good either.  Then there was the fact that I didn't feel like it rinsed off well.  I felt filmy.  After drying off I noticed that my skin was tight and dry.  It's not supposed to feel like that.  I'm switching back to my Olay with Cream Ribbons or my Nivea Touch of Sparkle with cream oil.  I need something to get me clean, to smell good, and to not leave me feeling filmy and dry.  Ivory is going to stay in bar form for the soap dish and the home made laundry soap from now on.

I love using this ivory bodywash it leaves your skin so soft and it smells so good the smells last a long time it doesnt take very much to suds up and the price is great i have switched to this it is all i buy now!

I adore Ivory Body wash.  I have struggled over the years to find a body wash that I really liked and now I have found it.  The wash is so rich and creamy it feel so luxorious on your skin.  It has really done wonders for my dry skin.  I do not even have to use body lotion anymore because this mosturizes my skin so well.  The smell is so nice and clean, nothing overpowering or too perfumey.  It lathers up very well and you don't have to use a lot to wash your entire body.  I also love that it is very budget friendly.  You will not break the bak purchasing this body wash.  I have found it at discount retailers for almost a steal.  It does not feel cheap though, in fact just the opposite.  You can almost fool yourself into believing that you are using some high end product, when the truth is that it does not even cost a fraction of those producs.  I think a lot of people pass Ivory by because they think that it is not a quality product, but it is.
