I believe that this is a timeless classic.  The directing is superb, the acting is excellent and the story stands through time.  Yes, it is an older movie, but that also gives it charm.  Watch the Black & White version not some 'colorized' knock off.  B&W makes you use your imagination and helps you get more involved with the film.  Those who used this medium had to be more creative!  Here's the plot:  George Bailey has the picture perfect life: a loving wife, Mary, four young children, and his own business, which he inherited from his father. The well written movie, "It's a Wonderful Life", played out with an amazing cast headed up by Jimmy Stewart is a must see during our current economic challenges. 

This movie is generally thought of as a holiday classic and plays on most networks, a number of times, during the month of December.  However, this story is something we should be remembering all year through.

I know for a fact that this movie is what one might call a "tradition movie". You watch it every year during a certain time and it stays with you. I have always loved "It's a Wonderful Life" since I was a kid.  We would always watch it on Thanksgiving night after a wonderful and filling family meal at my grandmother's house.  I love the story and Jimmy Stewart can't be beat!  Watching this movie is one of my personal traditions around the holidays.

Although I've always enjoyed this movie, I didn't fully appreciate it until about 2 years ago when we went to visit our daughter and son-in-law over the Christmas break.  While we were there, they took us to a renovated theater in Tampa, Florida.  It was a magnificent theater!  What an experience!...

I just love "It's a Wonderful Life" movie. I love to watch it each and every year. It is a movie that everyone in my family or any family can watch and enjoy. The messages of the movie are sweet,touching, very moving and very true. We love it so much in our family that every time it is on the television we watch it. We even own the movie on video cassette as well as digital video disc. This movie has a sense of what Christmas really about. Its a wonderful life....The holiday classic to define all holiday classics. An amzing movie. It is one of those movieas that require an annual viewing...Absolutely fabulous. Unselfconscionce and absolute forthrightness are the words that describe this movie. It is one of those movies that tugs at your souls a must watch for christmas season and any other season for that matter. If feeling down and depressed this is the movie for you as it reminds everybody how there is a purpose to our lives and that other people do benefit from us being there. This movie is such a great movie. I look forward to seeing it all year round. my family every year always sits around in the living room the night before christmas and watches this movie. It always makes me feel so good inside and makes me cry some too. you will never find a movie that you can feel so many emotions watching . whenever I see this movie I can't help but think about my life when I was a little kid. all those happy christmas eves waiting for santa claus.
