If you're an Aussie wanting to book tours overseas - DO NOT USE Isango! I had a horrible experience where I booked tours in the USA. After 1 month Isango could not confirm any of my bookings and told me some of the tour dates I'd selected the Operator had either cancelled or were full. In frustration I cancelled all my bookings with Isango and booked them myself via the internet. The Tour Operator communications were efficient and effective within 48 hours with eTicket bookings. Sadly Qantas Activity bookings is powered by Isango! My advice is go straight to the Qantas suppliers in the USA - Graysline or Google the tours and book yourself.

BOOKING NOT TO BE TRUSTED

It all seemed to go perfect, at first. We called the U.S. booking no. to book a Champagne Tour in Paris that we had researched online through this company ISANGO.com While speaking to the Phone Rep. she had confirmed the availablity of the tour and immediately secured our payment with our credit card. Within 15 minutes of speaking with her we received what appeared to be a confirmation email for this booking. It was complete with detailed information about the tour such as pick up time and dates, processed payment was confirmed, etc. We had also called our c.c. to confirmed that payment went through. Just Horrible!!!

My husband and I ordered a shuttle service from Fiumicino Airport  to Rome hotel for 9/3 through Orbitz.

Upon arriving at Fiumicino Airport at 22:00, we searched for a sign board with our names on it, and we waited for the arrival of our transportation for close to two hours but the shuttle sevice didn't show up.

As soon as I contacted Orbitz customer service after using another service and arriving at our hotel,they said they will contact Isango as soon as possible and reply to us within 3days.

We didn't receive any responses from Orbitz since then, so we e-mailed them again and again but each time they said their response was that they haven't heard from Isango yet.And finally, we ...

I have had a very negative experience with Isango... I booked a tour a couple of days ago... Then last night called to get assistance with technical difficulties with logging into my account... In the process of asking for the man to send me a copy of my receipt.. He told me that my tour (which I had received confirmation had been cancelled)... I had not previously been advised of this... No phone, no email from Isango to advise... I wonder if I had not called re: technical issue if I would only have found out when in Paris and the tour did not go ahead... Resulting in me having no options to rebook with someone more reliable... When I asked the indian gentleman to put me onto his supervisor...

Horrible service!

I booked a cruise/tour on this website and received no confirmation at all. They had 2 days to just make a simple phone call to confirm my payment with the cruiseline and they did not. I had to call overseas as the phone number in the US is just a voicemail (and they never called me back). I spoke to 2 reps in the UK who promised it would be handled and they would call me back and I never got a response. I was freaking out 2 hours before the cruise because I still didn't have any confirmation. Luckily the cruise line honored it and they told me they are having ALOT OF PROBLEMS WITH ISANGO. If you value good service and a company that keeps their promises do not use them! The bargain price comes with a price and thats NO SERVICE.

Golden Triangle Tour all organised by Isango

Isango!  We have just completed the most amazing Golden Triangle Tour, organised by Isango, who used local companies in India which were Mountain Trails and Le Passage to India.  Words cannot describe what an absolutely fabulous tour they provided for us.  We booked it from home over the internet and the organisation was superb.  We were picked up from our hotel in Delhi for a ten hour day tour of Delhi and our Guide/driver etc. would have happilly continued to show us Delhi at its best, had we not been too tired.  Excellent value for money and a wonderful insight into Delhi life.  Then came the jewel in the crown, the Golden Triangle Tour provided by Mountain T...

What a great site.  There's some really cool looking travel experience products on here.... makes you want to travel the world (it's actually slightly depressing browsing through it all from my city office!)     Very easy to search, attractive looking site - lots of images and detail.

This site looks like it will be a great resource for many kind of trips, but especially for setting up private excursions on a cruise. I also like that you can book airport transfers.  Look forward to reading about those who have used their services.

I didn't know all of this was possible

This is definetely somethng new and unseen before.Why no one's done this before? You have everythng under 1 roof. The idea is that if you like one activity or interest then here you can find all places in the world where you can do that. For instance wine tasting, or whale watching, or skiing, and you can read clear descriptions of what you book - not like buying out of a catalogue.Can't wait for my next trip to Europe to book some if this stuff.

isango are dishonest !

I made the mistake of trying to book my travel through Qantas which uses Isango. The trip was advertised very cheap and when I booked it was not "available at the cost, but I could have it at the new cost. They changed the cost of their trip after I made them aware that they advertised this at the "cheap" rate. Any reputable organisation would honor their mistake, but not Isango. Does Isango mean "slipery"? or maybe "we just want to crew you"?. Good look booking with Isango and I hope nothing goes wrong with your trip, as you will not get any help with them.

I am delighted Isango have organised our four day Golden Triangle tour from Delhi in India.   They organise all hotels, guide/driver etc. and pick up/drop off at your hotel in Delhi.  Really looking forward to our tour.

Golden Triangle Tour - The Support Team at Isango have worked really hard to organise our four day tour, starting from Delhi. Just let them have your dates and hotel for pick up/drop off and they organise everything.  Now looking forward to my 60th Birthday in India thanks to Isango.

Their phone services is full of individuals that do not care nor follow up with anything they say they would do.

Terrible!! Their site is full of misleading information and fineprints! Their phone services is full of individuals that do not care nor follow up with anything they say they would do.

My friends and I booked couple passes from them, but found out about the misleading info, and wanted a refund.

I've spent a whole month now, with three different calls to isango following up, and each time, they say they would have to send a request to "Smart Destination" and ask for a refund first!

I called Smart Destination myself to ask about this, they were fast and responsive, telling me that there should be no problem with a refund at all.

I felt ripped off and scammed. Never again!

Another customer let down and misled by iSango

Sadly, I have to echo many of the previous reviews questionning iSango's honesty.

To cut a long story short, we booked a recent tour of the Alhambra Palace with them and arrived on the day, only to be informed by the local tour operator that our tickets had been cancelled and weren't valid. This followed a two hour car journey with two small children.

There was no initial response to our phone calls or emails to iSango. When they finally made contact, they (perhaps accidentally) forwarded various emails between themselves and the local Alhambra tour operator.
