Iron Man developed by Sega.

This game was recently released to the PC and I was quite curious to see how the game was. Considering I am a big Marvel fan, I do own a lot of Marvel games.

From what little I've played of this game, it's a big take from the movie. The gameplay itself is not bad at all, it's just like being in the seat of the Iron Man suit, the missions are pretty decent, and flying is easy.

The downfall of the game is the lack of graphics that we have today. This is like Iron Man meets Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.

All though the Models itself are not badly made, the maps are pretty square-ish. And there are no advanced scripting in the game for bloom effects which would make this a nice game for older PC's to run. I can run this game at full resolution and graphics and I get a full 60 FPS with no drop at all.

If you're an Iron Man fan, this game, for the PC would fit you just fine. I personally do not attack games based on graphics, I do reviews based on how well the game is played, how well the story meets the actual readings, or movies, or comics or whatever the game is based off of. And this game meets the story of the movie exactly, and then some.

Your suit has 3 features, which on the keyboard is 1, 2, and 3 keys to set your suit to do just those specific things, like boosters, armor, and weapons, or set them to default use by pressing 4.

The Flying

Well, I never thought the flying in this game would be easy on a keyboard, but the controls are actually really easy to use, so any child would have fun with this game.

You can control with the mouse with ease. Unless you're using the boosters with the "Alt" key, activates the boosters.

Aiming and Shooting

Well if you've ever played Quake, or even GTA, the aiming with the mouse in this game is just the same, so it is quite easy to shoot enemies and pick them off with ease. You can even use your suit as a weapon by dropping from a high height and it causes a "shockwave" to the ground knocking your enemies down or even killing them.

Storyline

Well as I've mentioned, it does go with the movie pretty well. I didn't play too much of the game, just wanted to test it out. But this fits the movie just fine.

Graphics

The graphics are not bad but not good, I will give this a 2/5 cause there's new scripting out there that would of made this game look really nice! But Sega didn't take the time to make this game look like it really should.

Playability vs Kids

Well, I let my 5 year old play this game, and he was able to actually control this just fine. All though, it doesn't keep a childs attention for very long, it is a long game for them. But if your kid likes Iron Man, they will enjoy playing it.

The Cut-Scenes/Video's in Game

Well, lets just say they are not good quality at all. They are very fuzzy looking, like this game was made back in 1999. All though it does have a good story plot with the video and it doesn't lag, the quality loses my attention. If you've ever worn beer goggles, this is what the video looks like :(

All in all good game, bad graphics, excellent game play, good story line, matches the movie. 3/5
