Ionic Pro Air Purifier - Full Size Reviews

After reading all of the great reviews on the Ionic Pro Air Purifier we decided to invest in one.  I am not really all that in love with this product.  I was under the impression that it would cut down on dust and the like but I have seen no difference at all.  Even right around the machine I see as many dust-bunnies as ever!  The Ionic pro is so quiet that I can never tell if it is even on .  Some might think quiet is great but I like a little white noise and I want to know that it is working.  I can say that whenever we clean it I can see the dust particles but it is such a minuscule amount...

As other people have noted this machine must be cleaned once a week or so.  That is not a big deal to me.  It cost almost nothing to run, its very efficient.  It's also quiet to the point of being free of any sound at all. 

Most importantly, of course, it gets the job done.  It has to be cleaned because it is removing impurities from the air.  They collect on the metal plates as opposed to being trapped in a filter.  This also means there are no filters to buy periodically.  They are a little costlier than other types of air cleaners to purchase but, over time, they are cheaper because...

I owned a regular ionic pro for years.  It has blades inserted from the top that need cleaned weekly. The blade insertion is a HASSLE. Must insert one way only. The machine had a long life, but quit running, so wanted to replace and buy another.

 Customer service combined my replacement order with my order for a new machine (paid 2 separate prices).  I got the replacement-but not my new one.

WOW, the Ionic Breeze Pro Air Purifier is really remarkable.  My friend had two in his house and I did not think much of it.  However, now all of my sons, three, are home and our friend had to move in with us because his house got repossessed so I gained custody of both of his.  I cannot believe the difference is has made.

I bought my Ionic Pro Air Purifier in 2005 now its Jan 2008, it works great, you just have to clean it, the key is to use a wet paper towel to clean it then use a dry one to wipe dry. It takes me 5 minutes to clean 2 of them, thats clean and dry so no need to wait for the blades to dry. they are already.

When the blades and the 3 wires behind the blades get dirty it will make noises but that means its time to clean the blades and then the unit comes with a small handle on the top in the back to the right that you can pull to clean the wires inside of the unit and done, no more noise till its...
