The Invaracare I-Class Shower Chair is recommended by reviewers and physical therapists. Shower chairs were designed to assist the elderly, injured or infirm with bathing. The Invaracare is “sturdy, yet small enough to fit in most showers or baths.” It comes equipped with a molded seat with drain holes, removable back rest that is ergonomically shaped, and snaps into place without tools. It has a weight capacity of 250 pounds and shower holders for for better support. However, the chair does not fold up making extra work for busy bathrooms. It is also “rust resistant” not rust proof. Tired? Have a Seat While You Shower

When deciding to buy a shower chair, my biggest concerns were that the chair provide stability, comfort, and easy maintenance. The I-Class Shower Chair by Invacare made my decision much easier.

I purchased Model #9681 because it includes a back piece for support. The back support is particularly helpful if you find it difficult to sit upright comfortably without something supporting your back. There is a version (Model #9680) that comes without the back support.

This chair is a fantastic safety idea.. I started having back problems and couldnt stand long enough to take a proper shower so I bought one for myself and it has helped me enormously. I totaly recomend this product for anyone who has lower back troubles or even breathing problems that are exaserbated by hot showers.

Shower chairs are highley recommended! I am a physical therapist and have seen many products to assist eldery and the disabled with bathing. I recommend this product to patient's because it has a back rest and assists with balance. This product is sturdy, yet small enough to fit in most showers or baths.
