Turbo Tax - what a life saver. I used to take my taxes to a national tax preparation chain, oh the money I spent there. Then I went to an independent guy that for three or four years made a mess of my taxes - the weekends I lost doing amendments is shameful. I have used turbo tax for the last 5 years of tax return filing. The program is easy to use. Even if you have never used a computer before, or even done your own taxes you can use this program. It's very simple to follow, just read the question and enter the information it is looking for. I got my tax return much faster than filing it on paper. I found Turbo Tax Deluxe to be very helpful and easy to use. I had some complicated taxes to do this year and Turbo Tax walked me through it step by step. If you have any questions you can get help through a group forum or ask for on-line help. The cost is fairly inexpensive considering the complexity of my filing. Turbo Tax has been such a joy to use and so cost effective. I used to spend a lot of time and money going to a tax preparation office and waiting in line. Now I do my own taxes in the convenience of my own home. It is such a savings compared to what I used to pay the tax office as well. Why would anyone need a tax service to prepare a return?

I have used Intuit Turbo Tax Deluxe for the last 5 years and find software easy to use. Although it is cheaper then going to a tax preparer, I'm not sure that buying it directly from Intuit on an annul basis is the best way to obtain it, as I have seen it advertised for a lesser amount from other retailers. One of the benefits of using this product annually, is that certain information from the previous years return can be transferred to the current year's return with a click of a button. I used it to file my taxes and although it was a bit lengthy it was really a breeze to use. To maximize my returns, it asks many questions specific to you and by your answers the program either tells you if you qualify for the maximizer or not. In the end you have the chance to review your answers before submitting to either the State and Federal. I really enjoyed using this program and I would strongly recommend it to anyone who want to save a bunch of money by not going to a Tax Preparer and spend and arm and a leg to do your preparation. I used an online service last year to prepare my taxes, and paid approximately $70 just for my federal return. This year my boyfriend suggested that I use TurboTax since he liked using it last year. — I loved it! I was asked questions that I had not seen any of the last 3 years on the various online tax programs I used. I have used turbo tax now for five years and I highly recommend it. It is fast, easy and cheap. I help many friends with their taxes by using turbo tax. We us it through turbotax.com, you may as so purchase the kit from many different retail stores like walmart, kmart, or office depot. I have used TurboTax for the past six years and it never fails to impress. The audit is thorough and easy to understand. There are numerous sidebars to explain even the most complex tax possibilities. TurboTax has always found me the smallest tax bill and the largest refund. Highly recommended for folks with aveage tax liability. — The only criticism is the risiing cost of e-filing. Still, it is worth it to me to get a quick refund through direct deposit. Bought the Deluxe edition for 2007 taxes. — Sold some stock and didn't have information I needed, so I had to upgrade to Premier.
