Turbo Tax explains the deductions for which you qualify, provides definitions and regulations, and makes it so easy to lay out your tax work.

Even if you do other people's returns, it does the job. No point in buying a fancier program unless you are in the business big time.
If you are doing your own return and other friends and family, it handles everything like a pro.

I used an online service last year to prepare my taxes, and paid approximately $70 just for my federal return. This year my boyfriend suggested that I use TurboTax since he liked using it last year.
I loved it! I was asked questions that I had not seen any of the last 3 years on the various online tax programs I used. It took a little longer than the other programs, and some questions did not really apply, but... I got my biggest return yet - by far! You can also save money by using it to file taxes for your other family members.
Next year I can use it to transfer information from this years return......

I have used TurboTax for the past six years and it never fails to impress. The audit is thorough and easy to understand. There are numerous sidebars to explain even the most complex tax possibilities. TurboTax has always found me the smallest tax bill and the largest refund. Highly recommended for folks with aveage tax liability.
The only criticism is the risiing cost of e-filing. Still, it is worth it to me to get a quick refund through direct deposit. If I had to pay the IRS, I would mail the return in April, instead of using the e-file option.
Bought the Deluxe edition for 2007 taxes.
Sold some stock and didn't have information I needed, so I had to upgrade to Premier. I was able to purchase the upgrade online and well worth the $30.00.
I like the "It's Deductible" feature for finding the value of donated items.
I've been using Turbo Tax for about 6 years and will continue to use in the future.
Turbo tax is the easiest tax program I have ever used. I have done taxes by paper and pencil (The traditonal way) but never again. I have been using Turbo Tax to do my taxes for the past few years. This program is so simple anyone could use it. There is no need to take your stuff to a so called expert. Turbo tax software makes you the expert.
I recommend the program to everyone........
