Intuit Quicken 2008 Home & Business Reviews

Bottom-Line:  From online banking/bill paying, to investment and retirement tracking, to a business expense tracking, Quicken 2008 Home & Business is the program for me.

I love quicken and the ease of use for keeping all my financial stuff in one place. I actually had to update because quicken "retires" their versions after three years, and the online updates no longer work.  I actually preferred the older version (home and business 2005). Because of quicken retiring versions and making them inoperable I am beginning to get fed up with "forced" upgrades. If my program works for the activities I need to do I should NOT be forced to change.

Quicken 2008 Home & Business is an ambitious update to Intuit's accounting software lineup in terms of online integration. This, and the new reporting options make it tempting. If you are using Quicken 2007, though, you might want to wait until the next update to get more maturity in the new features.

One of the impressive features of this software is the smooth update of older databases. The stock features are not, unfortunately, as impressive as I'd hoped.

Existing users of Quicken software will probably benefit from picking up a third party book (even a "Dummies" book will do) and the interface...

I purchased Quicken Home and Office. It was so easy to learn. The tutorials are great help. I would recommend this to anyone that wants to keep track of their finances.
