Most HelpfulIntex Metal Frame Pool
What is it?
Intex Metal Frame Pool is an above ground pool that you put up and take down, seasonally. It is not a permanent pool. Basically, it's a pool liner that is held up with PVC piping. It also comes with a filter, cover and ladder. The Intex Metal Frame Pool can...
Most HelpfulThe Frame Set Pool by Intex is the perfect size for backyard fun. It allows the whole family to cool off in the pool, regardless of height or swimming ability.
The pool is reasonably priced for such a large item, is fairly easy to setup and the only real cost you have after the initial purchase is the increase in your water bill to fill the pool. If you buy a fitted cover for the pool you will save even more money by not having to change the water frequently.
The water only comes up to about 3 ft, so kids ages 4 and up can generally stand in the pool without going under. Of course kids need to be...

read full review »I purchased an Intex round metal framed 48"x24'. First, it's not an easy setup, lots of work! The day after setup it collapsed because the feet on the metal poles are too small and therefore sunk into the ground. Called Intex-horrible customer service, asked for a supervisor, stated they would call me back, never did. Sent E-Mail, reply stated "we would not replace the parts because they were damaged due to set up on soft soil or loose soil, we warn against it in the manual. If you'd like replacement parts, I regret to inform you that you would have to purchase them.". My soil is not...
read full review »We have had our Intex pool for about 3 years. It has been a great pool for our two kids. It is not too big but not too small. Big enough for adults to get into on those hot hot days and cool down. About the right size for 2 to 4 kids depending on age. Our pool has held up well but we have had to replace a few poles due to rust. For 3 years of use I'd say we have gotten our moneys worth out of it. Pump has held up well but we have had to replace the hoses, should be a bit bigger though. We also use a salt water chlorinator which is great.
I don't really have any complaints other than...
read full review »We bought one of these pools and had it for 2 summers. By the third summer the poles were rusting out and we put gorilla tape over the holes to prevent anyone from getting hurt. We had to replace the filter every summer that we used the pool. We always took the filter system out to store for the winter. Also the hoses don't last for more than a summer. We also had a problem this last summer with the chlorine levels not being right. The pump just wasn't big enogh to pump all that water. My kids ended up getting chlorine burns on their skin(not fun). The next pool we get will have the saltwater...
