neat freak, budget conscious
I purchased an Intex round metal framed 48"x24'. First, it's not an easy setup, lots of work! The day after setup it collapsed because the feet on the metal poles are too small and therefore sunk into the ground. Called Intex-horrible customer service, asked for a supervisor, stated they would call me back, never did. Sent E-Mail, reply stated "we would not replace the parts because they were damaged due to set up on soft soil or loose soil, we warn against it in the manual. If you'd like replacement parts, I regret to inform you that you would have to purchase…

My husband and I LOVE our Intex above ground vinyl pool! We've had it for about a year or more. Taken it down to re-level the bottom here recently, bought pool floaties/toys and a robot vacuum pool cleaner, a new saltwater generator pump. We have "little" maintenance to do now with the new saltwater system than before. No more chlorine chemicals, no more algae! That's the only drawback was the pump in my opinion didn't pump enough gph so we now have a 2,000 GPH. Our friends and family come over and enjoy it also. My son and I really enjoyed this pool. It was a very easy pool to set up, I did it by myself in prob about a 1/2 hour (not including the water of Course) but east to do. I got one of the salt filters and it was very easy to take care of, I didn't have to worry about any chemicals, or people's eyes bruning while they were swimming etc... I enjoyed those days that I could just relax on a raft and enjoy the summer…

This pool was very easy to set up. We set ours up on our patio and used carpet pad underneath to soften the bottom for the kids. The pool is well worth the money and our family is enjoying it. Set up time was about 30-45 minutes and doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure it out. …
