Intex is a great pool for the whole family.

We bought out Intex pool on the recommendation of a friend. It was a great price, was delivered quickly and was very easy to set up. We already had to ground prepared so it only took about 45 minutes to set it up. One person can do it, but it's much easier with two. I highly recommend this pool.

We've had a Intex metal frame pool every year for about 5 summers now. I've only ever re-used one. And the second year I had to replace the pump and the liner had a hole in it. The frame was rusty. However, I still love the product. I don't think I would have a pool if it were'nt for these.

This is my fifth year with the intex pool. I take it down at the end of the season and store it and the next summer I pull it out and set it back up. It is well worth the money! Very pleased. Thank you

My son and I really enjoyed this pool. It was a very easy pool to set up, I did it by myself in prob about a 1/2 hour (not including the water of Course) but east to do. I got one of the salt filters and it was very easy to take care of, I didn't have to worry about any chemicals, or people's eyes bruning while they were swimming etc... I enjoyed those days that I could just relax on a raft and enjoy the summer sun!

Kids love it, large enough for adults to cool down in.

We have had our Intex pool for about 3 years.  It has been a great pool for our two kids.  It is not too big but not too small. Big enough for adults to get into on those hot hot days and cool down.  About the right size for 2 to 4 kids depending on age.  Our pool has held up well but we have had to replace a few poles due to rust.  For 3 years of use I'd say we have gotten our moneys worth out of it.  Pump has held up well but we have had to replace the hoses, should be a bit bigger though.  We also use a salt water chlorinator which is great. I don't really have any complaints other than I wish Intex would make the poles a bit stronger and more rust resistant and put a larger pump with it.  The liner is very durable. Great summer fun for the kiddos.

Good for the price!

We bought this pool a few years back (I think) because it was the best thing on the market that we could find that was also within the price range we were looking at. The pool does not cost too much in comparison with other similar pools yet I think it is still made with exceptional quality and durability. We have not had many issues with it to this day and the overall maintenance cost of this pool is very much on the low end of the scale. The best things about it are its size - it can fit the whole family and it provides for tons of relaxation and entertainment for hours. The only thing is that you will definitely need help assembling it, perhaps even someone to reread the instructions for you because they can be confusing. Besides that, we're fairly happy with our purchase. I would recommend the pool to anyone else interested in buying a similar type pool in a heartbeat. You can't get a better bang for the buck.

My small family use this pool like no other. Almost every day we were out there!! We have a pretty small yard, which is why we seriously debated ever putting a pool up in the first place. And on top of that, our yard is on an extreme slope. Eventually, we got the ground levelled and ordered our pool. You have to be careful though, the floor has to be PERFECTLY level. The pool was easy to put up, but of course, it takes forever to fill and empty. Once we had it up and filled, we realized it leaned slightly to one side, and we were worried that the water would bend the popes on one side. After summer we took it down for the year, and the next year we tried to level it a little more. Again, it didn't work , and our pool got bent even more. We had to upgrade to a more durable frame. Overall though, if your yard is level and you have room for it, then DEFINITELY consider buying this pool. It's incredibaly easy to build and dismantle.

Family loves this pool

We have had this pool for three years now -- we live in Florida so we don't take it down.  It's been up for a full three years and it's in really great shape.  I cannot comment on the disassembly of the pool.  We do let the water out for about 3 months each year, but other than that, it's being used by my six person family almost daily.  The kids, especially, love this pool.  It's the perfect size, not too big, not too small.  My husband said that the assembly was super easy and the directions were simple to follow.  We think the supporting posts are strong and well-made.  Ours have not rusted.  Maintaining the pool IS expensive, but that is not the pool itself, it's the water.  Depending on where you live, the climate, etc, you may have to spend more or less on chemicals to keep it all balanced.  The only reason that I gave this pool 4 stars rather than five is that the pump that it comes with IS too small.  We had to purchase a bigger one.

Have bought several of these pools over the years. I like the fact that they are simple to set up and take down. The filters for them do work though. You are constantly buying new filters. And they are not made like they used to be either. The liners that is anyways. When we first starting buying them years ago the liner was really tough and never got any rips. Now lately in the last few years they get a tear with the slightest thing. And the bad thing about taking them down is that the little clips that hold the bars together they break easily and then have to be replaced. Which didn't use to be a bad deal because they were not that expensive. But now that the liners seem to be made very cheapily it almost is not worth it. But around where we live there is no community pool or anything like that. we do live by a lake, but that's kinda nasty. So I guess we'll continue buying them just wish they would make the liners more tough.

Good but not durable enough

This intex pool is not a bad product, especially for the price. I was initially drawn to the product because of the value, and our family got a lot of enjoyment out the pool for about 3 years. The intex pools are simply not engineered to last much longer than this (I'm sure it depends on your climate). But the pool is easy to set up and does not require that much maintenance when used with the saltwater system. Nice pool!
