Beautiful details juxtaposed with Horror, Dean Koontz opens up a big ole can of whupass on a very bad dude from a very unlikely source. So often women are viewed as weak victims in the media. Koontz gives power to the powerless in his portrayal of Chyna the Psychology Major. From the first attack to the end Chyna never gives up to the evil lethal killer as she chases him from place to place so that she can rescue a girl that she has never met. Kept me up all night long!

I loved this book. Every time I see a new Koontz book I have to get it. I have only been let down once or twice, but this one did not let me down. The high paced action really kept my interest. Honestly, I couldn't put it down and since it was a friday night finished it in an entire night. Then I slept really late into the a.m. to make up for it. :o) But, this was a really good book as usual from Dean. Love the ideas that he came up with.
