long hold times, poor customer service, bad attitudes, unresponsive and threatening tone. Stressful to deal with, won't honor the most basic things such as check ups without hours of interaction. Seem to automatically deny claims, misleading and hard to understand benefits. Too many caveats, too expensive, too many fee hikes.

We have/had been with USAA for 29 years about a year ago our insurance lapsed because I lost track of the bill... What a very stupid thing to do my mistake and I freely admit it! Our family has had Farm Bureau as our insurance company now for a little over ten years! They have been very good on their prices and no one can beat them as of yet!
Our family started using them only because we had gotten in a wreck and the people who had hit us had Farm Bureau. Farm Bureau took care of us right away and were very friendly! I told my husband that I wanted to have an honest company like this to back us up in time of need! I have had Hartford insurance for 5 years now. I have to say that they have been the best insurance company that I had had for my cars as well as my house. I had my car for only 14 months when my daughter's boyfriend took it out and wrecked it. He was not on my insurance policy as a driver but they paid for the repairs without a second thought. When I have questions about anything concerning my policies there is always someone there to answer the phone at the 800 number that I have and I reaaly like being able to talk to a person and not an automated machine during times of problems.

ON 3/4/09 I WAS A VICTIM OF A NO FAULT ACCIDENT AND THE DRIVER WHO CAREENED INTO MY CAR RAN A RED LIGHT AND BECAUSE THIS DRIVER DID NOT HAVE ANY INSURANCE MY INSURANCE PREMIUMS WERE RAISED TWICE. THE INSURANCE REPRESENTATIVE THAT I SPOKE WITH SAID THAT MY RATES WOULD INCREASE FROM $167.75 TO $196.00 DOLLARS. THEN IN OCTOBER, LIBERTY MUTUAL RAISED UP MY PREMIUMS $250 DOLLARS MORE BECAUSE THEY MADE OUT A PAYMENT TO THE DRIVER WHO HAD NO INSURANCE AND WHO SHOULD HAVE TURNED IN HIS PLATES TO THE MOTOR VEHICLE DEPARTMENT. Nationwide Auto Insurance Company is the laziest company I have ever come across. I had auto insurance with them for two months, when they asked me to provide 6 months proof of insurance before I signed up with them. I faxed the info from the previous ins co I had ins with. They informed me that I was short 3 days of prior proof. I called Safe Auto and the man on the phone faxed the info to Nationwide while I was on the phone with him.
