Insignia - NS-SKPDVD Review

We bought this one because it was cheap and had a cool look to it. We didn't expect much, but we were pleasantly surprised.  It comes with a coupon for a free customizable skin for the player.  the site that makes the skins is really fun, especially when you use the customize family photos option.

 We use it in the car on trips and it works wonders to keep the kids happy. One of the features I saw listed for the Insignia Skin-it said it had a four hour battery life, which is one reason we chose this one. But we can only seem to get about two hours out of it. It was a little disappointing, but we just remember to use the car charger whenever possible.

The Insignia Skin-It also hooks up to most T.V.'s.  We had intended to buy another DVD Player to use in my childrens' room, but this one made that unnecessary.  We just plug it in and it plays just fine.  The fact that it plays mp3 tacks is great also because they can listen to their songs without using the family CD player. Overall I really like this one.
