Our pitbull puppy mix loves this food.

4

A little over a month ago we got a new puppy, a seven week old pitbull mix. She wasn't having any of the kibbles we already had on hand for the other dogs and assorted animals that we take care of, so I went out to find her a new kind. We bought a bag of this Innova Evo Small Bite Dry Dog Food, as well as a couple other kinds for her to try. There was no need to try the other samples, she started eating the bowl of this and then asked for more. I wasn't that familiar with this brand before purchasing the small bite dry dog food for our new puppy to try. But since buying her that first bag I have done some research and they are actually a very good company. I don't know about you, but those are things that I do pay attention to when buying a product. There is not a whole lot of bad things to say about this Innova dry food, except it was a little pricer than what I would of liked to pay, but that may just be more of the fact that we live in a pretty "backwods/country" area and so there aren't many "fancy" brands of food. This one must be really good for the stores to carry it way out here. The texture of the food is similar to other small bite dog food, it isn't too greasy which is a big plus to me. Greasy feeling dry food seems to upset doggies tummies fairly easily. The smell from this food isn't exactly what I would call plesant, but it isn't as offensive as the other ones that we have bought in in the past either. This food seems to be pretty easy to diegest for the puppy, and since the bites are small enough she has no problem eating them. I am actually thinking of switching all the dogs to this Innova food, since it has gone over so well with the puppy. I would definately reccommend this to other dog owners.

Evo Small Bites (Chicken)

5

After reading up on few dog nutrition sites, I narrowed down my choices between two grain-free dog foods. Innova Evo Small Bite and Taste of the Wild. My dog switches between the two once he finishes a bag and he seems to prefer Evo when given the choice. While Evo is slightly more expensive, it's healthy, my dog likes it and I'm partial to the fact that they have kibble specifically designed for smaller dogs.

Innova EVO Small Bite Great for Smaller Breeds

5

Good quality dog food is sometimes difficult to come by. Most of the dog food products sold in grocery and convenience stores are inexpensive mainly due to the mass production and low quality of the food. To get the good stuff, you usually have to make a special trip to a pet food store and one of the better products you can buy is Innova EVO Small Bite Dry Dog Food. Innova EVO Small Bite Dry Dog Food is one of the best quality dog foods available and the main reason is the lack of grains. Most dog foods use at least some grain, mainly for filler purposes. But dogs' bodies have little use for grain- they need meat, and Innova EVO Small Bite Dry Dog Food has plenty of real meat to serve a dog's unique dietary needs. Innova makes several different dog food varieties and this one, Innova EVO Small Bite Dry Dog Food, is best known for its smaller kibbles. This makes it ideal for those who have smaller breeds of dogs. Most small dogs can, in time, crunch and chew the larger kibbles, but eating in this case becomes a chore. It is better to serve them smaller kibbles that can easily be crunched and broken down to size. Innova EVO Small Bite Dry Dog Food offers just that, making it much easier for a smaller breed to enjoy its meal. Innova EVO Small Bite Dry Dog Food offers a good deal of taste and dogs will take to the flavor without hesitation. If they resist a little, try adding a small amount of soft food from a can as a topper. That should be enough to convince most dogs to eat this food and considering its high quality, this is far preferable to giving in and serving your dog food that might taste good, but is low in quality. A dog's nutritional needs are far different from humans and as a general rule, more meat means a higher quality food. Innova EVO Small Bite Dry Dog Food offers exactly that and it rates as one of the best dog foods on the market. Quality of Ingredients This food offers far better ingredients that what you normally find in dog food. Flavor Selection Innova offers a few different flavor options, but not a lot.

My Maltese LOVES Innova Evo!

5

I have a 5 year old Maltese who has been eating Innova Evo since we got him at 11 weeks old. I absolutely love this food! It is so healthy for him and is of great quality. We try to feed him food and treats with little to no fillers that are high in protein and low in fat. Luckily, Innova Evo fits that. We have tried both the chicken and the red meat flavors as well as some of their wet cans. We occasionally mix the wet with his dry in the mornings. When we first got him, we were told from the breeder that they usually give all of their puppies another brand (I believe Nutra), but our puppy would not eat it. They said that when dogs don't like the normal brand for them, they upgrade them to Innova Evo. Although it is harder to find and more expensive by a little, they've had great luck with it. It is a little harder to find for us in Delaware. We only have one store brand that carries it, but luckily they have numerous branches that are convenient. I would definitely recommend Innova Evo to any petlover! I know our dog, Coach, would recommend it too!!!

Innova Evo Small Bite Dry Dog Food Works Very Well.

A vet recommend this dog food after I noticed that my shorthair dog started to shed. It turns out she wasn't getting enough protein and because of that she started to lose her hair. Well, after about a week of feeding her Evo, I noticed a change already she was more active and hyper and then after about 3 weeks I noticed her hair wasn't shedding as much! I really think this dog food is good for dog lacking protein but I was a little upset that it's so pricy and apparently, it is just protein! There are no grains or vegetable so I do have to give my dog some rice and veggies a few times a week. Also, my friend who is a vet tech told me that if I were to mix raw chicken, rice and carrots together as a meal for my dog, it would have just the same affect and it would be cheaper, but I don't have to fix my dog a special meal every night! Therefore, I would recommend this dog food to any pet owner who notices their dog losing a lot of fur and doesn't have time to prepare his/her dog a special meal every night!

pamper your doggie with a quality food like Evo

My dog is a 9 year old, 15 lb female mixed dog with lots of energy.  I used to feed her Pedigree and Iams until I started reading about all the nasty things that are in commercially-available dog foods.  I researched dog foods online and food Innova Evo to be the no-grain dog food I wanted to try.  My decision was confirmed by a recommendation from a friend who owns a Puggle puppy. I decided to try the Innova Evo Turkey/Chicken Small Bites dry dog food.  The kibbles are the perfect size for a small dog, though sometimes my dog puts too many in her mouth at one time and ends up spitting a few out onto the floor before she eats it up again.  My dog recently got six of her teeth pulled out, so the small size makes it easy for her to bite.  This no-grain dog food is high in protein, so I feed her about a 1/3 cup vs the 1 cup that I used to have to feed when I was giving her low-grade Pedigree and Iams.  Evo costs more than the foods you find at mass retailers, but considering that you use less, it is more cost-effective for higher quality. My dog used to run around after she ate and rub herself on the carpet.  She doesn't do this with th  The Evo dry dog food.  I really believe she was doing this because she had minor allergic reactions to the low-quality foods.  With Evo, her coat is always shiny, her eyes are always bright and perky, and she does not rub her face or body after eating.  My dog is high in energy and the Evo keeps her energy up.  I was worried that this food wouldn't be good for her, as she is 9 years old and considered a senior dog, but she is doing well with it.  I would definitely recommend this dog food and will continue to use it.

Good, but not as good as Orijen

4

I tried this dog food because there was a coupon out there for a free trial bag, so I figured I'd incorporate it into his routine. I started out slowly peppering in a 1/4 cup of Evo into my usual amount of Orijen, and his stools were beginning to look a little runny after a day or so. Went through a period of about 3 weeks worth of messy, messy poop, and it finally started to firm up by the time I was giving him only Evo in his meals. As far as his preference for taste goes, he doesn't seem to like it quite as much as the Orijen, but he doesn't turn his nose up at it, either. Because Evo is still pretty high protein, and grain free, his coat is still as soft and shiny as it was when only on Orijen. As far as ingredients go, it doesn't appear to be as good as other premium dog foods, and I suspect that won't change anytime soon, now that another company has acquired the brand. I'll probably use it for as long as there are coupons out there for it, and then jump ship when the promotion is over.

Dog's love it and it's good for them!

We recently swithced to this brand of dog food from Diamond brand. Since we have swithced I have noticed a significant change in both of my dogs coats. I have one dog who has a thyroid condition that causes his hair to fall out, and this food has kept his coat healthier. It has also helped to cut down on his hair loss. While this food is more expensive it is definatly worth it! There are no unnecessary fillers. The only down side to this product is that my dogs now have terrible gas. I'm asssuming from all the protien, but if my dog's are healthier it's a small price to pay. I would reccomend this food to anyone.

Evo Dry Dog food is great quality but PRICEY

4

I just bought a full size bag of the Innova Evo Small Bite Dry Dog Food, but in the 6 pound bag. The flavor and quality is amazing. My dog eats it up before I can finish pouring it in the bowl. She even knows when I take it out because she can smell the great flavor. I got the Turkey flavor for my dog. The packaging is a nice design, and the small bites are perfect for my small dog. I ususally have a hard time finding something thats easy on her small stomach. But this Evo Dry Dog Food is gentle on her stomach (the Turkey flavor) and the perfect size for her to nibble on. My only disappointment is the price of the food. I have NEVER bought a bag of dry dog food this pricey and expensive. Never! And even though my dog loves it, I can not afford to stick with this brand. So maybe I will buy it once in a blue moon for my baby, but I am sticking with my previous brand of dry dog food in small bites.

EVO is a good food but also a lot of hype.

3

I like Evo but I also have a few concerns about the product.  Some of the things I do like includes that oh-so short ingredient list.  You know exactly what is in the food and there's nothing that you can pronounce or easily identifiy. My major concern is the high protein level in a dry food.  I think it's 42% protein and that's a lot in a kibble.  When I have fed EVO, I like to cut it with another high-quality moderate protein kibble and feed it with plenty of liquid to prevent any stress on the dogs during digestion. The dogs seem to like it and unlike the majority of kibbles it doesn't smell funky.  It also doesn't appear to cause the dogs to look or feel greasy and it doesn't give them giant, smelly poops.  THe kibble size is fine for mid-sized dogs but a little small for larger dogs yet my small dog find the kibble size of the regular EVO to be too large.  So I just buy the small bites for everyone.
