If you have a dog, you should try this food.  Dogs are carnivors and need meat.  This food contains NO grains, which are not digested by dogs. I fed EVO to my two cats last year, then switched to all canned food for awhile, then added kibble to their diet again a few months ago (because they were missing it so much). — Over the past two years I have tried most or all of the high-end, grain-free kibble and EVO is definitely their favorite. This is a wonderful food. Remember to switch very slowly expecially if feeding a generic food. I used Innova after learning more obout the commercial food buisness many years ago. I feed the innova for about 6 months before switching to my own raw diet for my pets. This is the best cat food find ever!  I initially purchased the food with the intent of feeding it only to my newly diagnosed diabetic cat.  After a lot of research and food trial (and error!) I recently had my own kitty diagnosed with feline diabetes and also a a kitty in our rescue group.  These kitties were both used to free feeding on dry food throughout the day and also receiving a small amont of wet food twice daily.  Out went the commercial dry food and Evo was introduced...only 7 grams of carbohydrates so easy to incorporate into a daily calorie count along with o-3 gram carb wet food.  Along with insulin administration one of the kitties is about to be taken off his insulin and maintained by dietary regimen.  It may be a… read full review »

After toying the with idea of feeding my dogs a BARF diet and determining that I wasn't up to it, I read about EVO and decided to give it a try.  My dogs love the food, and I love the fact that it's grain free and hig protein.  My dog's allergies disappeared and their teeth and coats improved.  They eat less than the cheap foods that are all filler, and that means less waste to pick up.  Sure, it's more expensive than the cheap foods, but in the long run I do believe it costs less due to smaller portions and healthier dogs (lower vet bills).  I'd recommend it… read full review »

Innova is a great brand of pet food and EVO is their high end product.  They use high quality ingreadients and no junky filler.  EVO is high in protein and has no junk fillers which is great for cats espically who need a high protein diet as obligate carnoves.  The drawbacks to Innova is that it is a bit pricey and can be harder to find.  But it is worth it.  Look for it at higher end pet stores.  My cats really like the taste of this food and I feel that I am giving them a healthy… read full review »

I used to feed raw meat and bones to my dogs and they loved it. We went to Alaska for 4 months and just cost was prohibitive. I started feeding Evo  before we left so they were used to it. It is the next best food behind raw meat and bones. You get what you pay for and feeding my dogs the very best food is what I do for my dogs. My cat was diagnosed with IBS 3 years ago. For 2 of those years, I fed her a prescription cat food recommended by my Vet, IVD Duck and Pea dry. She still threw up about once a week. Then a member in an IBS group suggested EVO for her because it was grain free and had a high protein content. After a reccommendation from the owner of a local pet shop, I bought a bag of this food and my cats LOVE it.
