My veterinarian suggested that I try this brand of dry cat food.  He is a big fan of home-cooked cat foods and this was one of the very few brands of store bought cat food he recommended.  After using many vets in the past -- I trust him completely and I know he stands to make no profit out of his recommendations... it is a brand of cat food he trusts and recommends without reservation. My cat loves it and she is one of the most finicky cats who has ever owned me.  I belong to many feline health yahoo groups and this is also one of the few brands of cat food recommended because it is grain-free and as close to natural as you can get.  My cat's litter box does not smell and there is less "waste" -- which is a sign that the food has less filler and is well digested. I feel good about feeding DaisyMae this food and she loves it and would not switch to another brand.  The only negative is that there is only one pet feed store in my area that carries it and they are sometimes out of stock because it is so popular ... so I always keep an extra bag on hand because I would not ever feed DaisyMae anything else.  I recommdend this cat food highly and have told everyone I know they need to try it and use it. It may cost a bit more, but it is definitely worth it -- my cat's health is a priority and a few dollars more to ensure that is certainly well worth it and then some.

Oh okay, well thank you. That was helpful.
I've been feeding my cat those new Fancy Feast Appetizers and sometimes when i'm working my parents feed her the most whiskas cat food. We fed my old cat Whiskas so i started feeding my new cat that too.. Do you know if those are decent brands or not? Just wondering, i'm not good at finding out with is good or not. But yeah, if you know if those are okay or not that'd be cool to know. Thanks again

I feed my cats Innova EVO dry cat food - I leave it out for them all day long to nosh on. Innova EVO is grain free and comes close to feeding your cats a raw food diet. Innova Cat Food is not grain free - and while it is a quality food, it is not designed to come close to a raw diet like the EVO brand.

It's important to me to feed my cats grain free food as grain can contribute to irritable bowel syndrome and many cats are allergic to grains. A non grain diet is what cats need as it comes closest to what they eat in the wild - what they are "genetically" supposed to eat - cats are carnivores. To compliment the dry food, I feed my cats Wellness canned food which is also grain free. As I mentioned in my review, I selected Innova EVO because it was the only dry food my vet suggested. There were a number of canned foods he recommended but i primarily to feed my kitties Wellness turkey, chicken or beef. I feed them fish/tuna canned food on rare occasions and will buy Newman's Own on occasion for variety. Newman's Own is also an excellent canned grain free food for cats.

Let me know if I can be of further help.

Do you know what the difference is between the Innova Cat food and the Innova EVO cat food? Is one better than the other.?
