I used to feed my cat cheaper food until I realized how unhealthy it was. I found a website made by a vet that compared cat food brands and Innova was one of the ones that she recommended based on the quality of ingredients so I switched my cat to Innova. At first she wasn't happy because she was used to the cheap food that is mainly fillers (the equivalent of fast food vs. a healthy homemade meal) but after a while she got used to it and now she loves it. If you buy the bigger cans (13.2 oz.) and a can lid from the pet store to keep it from drying out it doesn't cost much more than the cheap foods and it is a much better quality. The added moisture of the wet food also makes it healthier than the dry food option. Quality of Ingredients Innova offers higher quality ingredients with more crude protein and fat and less by-products, chicken meal and carbohydrates. Flavor Selection The flavor selection isn't that large but my cat prefers chicken flavor anyway so we haven't had a problem with it.

I have tried many, many foods on my cats and this among their very favorites. My cats are mainly fond of poultry flavors so this was perfect for them. They really seem to enjoy the flavor combination and polish it off every time! As for the ingredients and such I feel like it is in the best interest of my cats to feed them the very best foods and I have recently gone grain free. There are several foods out there that are grain free but smell horrendous and the kitties refuse to eat them (and I can't blame them). That never happens with Innova. I feel confident that I'm feeding one of the best foods I can when I feed Innova. I also like that these come in the three ounce cans which make for a perfectly sized meal for my two cats to share. They get dry food as well, but have canned food for breakfast and dinner. The combination of solid nutrition, quality ingredients, and palatability are a home run with this product. I definitely highly recommend it!

high quality ingredients are on top of my list for any food items that I purchase. With all the scary GMOs and other artificial foods out there I try to buy organic and fresh as much as possible. One of my cats is a very picky eater and I tried a lot of different brands of cat food but it is very hard to get him to eat. Looking around at my petstore I came around the Innova cans which were on sale at that point. I noticed that the main ingredient is meat without all the fillers and garbage found in most other cat foods. I decided to give it a try and never have I seen my cat chow down his food like this before. Innova cat food is now my go to brand and I purchase the dry as well as wet canned food. I feel good about giving my kittens high quality ingredients and they love the taste.

I tried this brand before since i'm doing a rotation diet to see which grain free food my cats like the most. They love the Wellness canned food just plain . I also mix the Weruva Steak Frites in their wet food because some of my cats like the chunkier texture. They were never too crazy when I fed the regular Innova Evo cat and kitten wet food. I did some research recently and found the Evo 95% meat canned food . I bought a few cans of each flavor and they all dove into it like they havent been fed in months!!! The only problem about this food was my concern about the added salt and the use of carageenan in this food. Otherwise it seems like a great high protein low carb diet for my little "furbabies" I've emailed the company and hopefully they can shed some light on this.
