Infantino Sling Rider Review

I bought this baby sling with my second child, because I found the Snugli infant/baby carrier didn't seem to hold my newborn comfortably.  I loved the way the Infantino Sling Rider fit on me, and how close my baby was to me.  It was easy to maneuver as I walked around with the baby, and didn't seem bulky (compared to the Snugli carrier and my diaper bag!).  However, as my second (and now third) child was born in May, I found immediately that the Sling Rider kept the baby too warm (even though the box did say that there were breathable fabrics to help vent the inside of the carrier).  The poor thing was sweating after being in it only for a few minutes.  Granted, I live in South Mississippi, so the summer heat and humidity is brutal.  I imagine that people who live in cooler climates, or have their babies during cooler weather months, would not have that difficulty.  I wish I would've had the chance to try this carrier with my first child, born in October.
