I took my three boys to see this movie over the weekend.  First let me just say, I demonstrated another lapse in parental judgment by bringing our four year old.  Although he did not seem to mind, this movie was too graphic and violent for him.

That aside this latest edition of the Indiana Jones series was a real disappointment.  Harrison Ford is great and Steven Spielberg is the master but this flick is just pure cheese.  Maybe I have just become too cynical since the days when I saw the originals, but I thought the story line was not only not believable, but just plain silly.  Now, I know, you might say, were the previous ones believable?  Well not really but they were better made.

Even mega stars and mega directors need to make a flick purely for the bucks every now and then.....

I do not recommend that you drop $20+ on this movie at the theater, but if you happen to catch it on a plane or on pay per view, it will help the time go by.

I_thumb_down Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull is not recommended by Matt
