I love Harrison Ford, and am a huge Indiana Jones fan. But this movie left me cold, and angry.

I am all for escapism, and I love a good yarn. For me the ending ruined the whole movie, it was simply horrible.

I was willing to go along for the ride, even accepting the bad GCI problems. I was also willing to endure the tortured plot line. But I almost had to walk out at the ending.

Once I got over my anger at the ending (I will not spoil it but it was horrible). I tried to decipher what made me so mad. I think it was just a cheep cheezy story line, that really had no where to go but down.

The first and third movies while far fetched, were at least based on ideas that were based on familiar myths (or religious truths based upon your point of view). This one was also based on a long standing myth, but the "reality" that was discovered was so poorly executed that it was nearly laughable.

In addition I really did not like the new character Mutt. It may have been the hair, or the attitude, or the whole lack of chemistry between Mutt and Indy, whatever it was it did not work for me. If he comes back, I wont.

You are wise. I wish I had heard before I spend 2 hours of my precious time...

I heard this type of opinion all over the place. I like Indiana Jones too but will definitely be skipping this one!

In Hollywood it's anything for a buck. Nothing is sacred. ;>

That bad? I've been wanting to see a movie this weekend but haven't decided which one. Maybe Indy Crystal Skull can wait for the DVD...
