independent brand skateboard trucks have always been the ones that turn the best while still being "built to grind," as they say.  yes, they grind well.  there must be something in the alloy or how it's treated or cast or something.  just in case anyone thought independent wasn't keeping up with the trend of offering a low geometry truck, well, hey!  they do.  if you like that down low feeling, then here's a great truck for you.

now, keep in mind, most skaters that like low trucks like them because they do a lot of flip tricks, etc.  however, me? i'm more of a snowboarder who returned to...

As a long time skateboarder...I have had the pleasure of riding a vast array of trucks. Independent's stage nine are a clear choice. They by far are the most sturdy and reliable trucks on the market. One of the few trucks that I haven't broken at some point. They truly are a solid set of trucks. I refer them to everyone.

There a good truck, and ride good. There is one problem with the bushings. It's not that big of a problem though. Over all they are a really good truck.

I would recomend.

independent trucks have been around for a long time but they need to go away. there trucks are so heavy and bulky that i thought i had lead on the bottom of my board. there weight deffinantly affects your ollie and flip tricks so dont get them get krucks trucks.

These trucks, like most indy trucks, are heavy and in my opinion do not compare to his other signature trucks. If you like indys, you will like these; they are durable, smooth, and have a clean look to them.
