InboxDollars Review Summary
Everyone reads e-mail every day, so why not earn a little money in the process? This is the idea behind InboxDollars.com, an online site that offers free membership and then pays members for reading e-mails, taking surveys, and completing other tasks. Reviewers appreciate that there are different ways to make money and they like that the site is free to join. However, many members have voiced concerns with this site, ranging from the lengthy time to complete a survey to the fact that reading e-mail results in SPAM e-mail clogging their inboxes. But since InboxDollars.com is free to join and only requires the reading of e-mail, many are tempted to try it out. “Might as well give it a shot” is a comment from one reviewer who feels there is nothing to lose by at least trying out InboxDollars.com to see what you can earn.

I am very skeptical of most sites that claim they can make you money -- Easily. However, as I have told many of my good friends, this site is for real. It does take time...and patience. However, having both, I find that I do make money. You simply sign up and take surverys, click on emails...and…

I would like to first apologize for the length of this review. As you will read, I am very passionate about people NOT joining this site. — About a year ago, I received an email from InboxDollars.com that advertised earning cash by reading email, completing surveys,…

Inbox Dollars was the most frustrating experience I've had on the Internet in a long time. At first glance, it appears to be a great idea. Inbox Dollars pays its members for reading emails, trying out products and services, and completing surveys. They credit your account $5 upon joining. Each survey that you complete pays you $1. Reading emails amounts to $.03 to $.04 for each. — I accumulated $15 dollars within the first few weeks, and I was pretty happy. Suddenly, I stopped accumulating money. I'd spend 10 to 15 minutes taking a survey, only to find out that I "didn't qualify." There…

looking to make money on the Internet, into finding great deals online, simple is good
I would not advise anyone to join Inbox dollars. I joined a long long time ago and and sorry I did. In all that time I qualified for ONLY 2 surveys. Not sure how much you get paid for clicking on the emails but it sure didn't add up very fast. Just like another review I read on here, I also didn't read the fine print. Big big no no. It took me forever to finally earn my 30 dollars for pay out, then they took $3.00 of that just to send me the money. I finally did get my check for $27 dollars after having to keep clicking on their emails for a month then wait…

Inbox dollars seemed like an easy way to make a few extra cents. Notice, I didn't say dollars. I've been a member of this site for almost six moths, and I've finally made $ 30.00 which is the amount you have to get up to to request a payment check. But the thing about it is, I made most of that money within the first week. It's as if they let me make the money at first, just to get me hooked, and then......unless I were to purchase something through them, it takes forever to make anymore money. — One of the way you can make money is to take…

looking to make money on the Internet, a survey taker, Every day computer user
I joined InboxDollars in 2004 and just received my first payment in September. First let me say, that all I do is click on the emails that are sent to me, which of course, does not pay much. I have not taken advantage of all the other ways to earn from this site, so that's why it has taken me so long to reach a payout. Today, there are so many sites available that are similiar to InboxDollars and you really get out of them what you put into them. Sites like these are not for everyone and usually the ones that make the complaints are those that have not put forth the…

Do not join. I am a member of several online survey groups, some better than others but managed to keep my spam intake at a minimum. As soon as I sign up for inbox dollars and start clicking on their e-mails I start getting spammed like crazy. More than a coincidence I…

I was really excited about Inbox until I found out the ins and outs. The one thing that I thought was really good was the Gold Membership. Just pay $17 of your earnings and you will get referrals automatically credited to you. Above that, you get paid for the emails that they read as well. This sounded so good that I signed up, so I am now a Gold Member (Yipee!!) and was anticipating a payout at anytime, but... When I began looking at my earnings, I saw that from the 200+ emails I have viewed, I've made over $10 whereas with the 1000+ emails that my 'referrals' have read, I have a whooping…

Open-minded, an online survey taker
I joined inbox a long time ago..I took surveys and read emails from them almost — everyday. When it came time to cash in that was a joke. That was somewhere around Nov 1,2007. I was told my check would be mailed Jan1,2008. When I tried to sign into my account after that, it said I was no longer a member. No matter what I did It wouldn't let me log back in. I think if they say you will get paid you should. — Some of these surveys take up alot of your time, and some are actually very boring. —…

I have been looking for a way to earn extra money on the internet...without having to pay a fee. This seemed like a good way to do so...but, once you get started, it takes a lot of time and effort just to earn $10.00. Then, to find out that you have to pay to redeem your dollars...how disappointing is that? VERY! Isn't there anything you can do on the internet that isn't some sort of…

This site is a great way to make a little extra cash. They offer a percentage back on your online purchases...anywhere from 1%-5% of your pre-tax, pre-s&h total. In addition, they have online surveys available once a day. You get paid $1 for every survey completed. In addition, they have a fairly decent referral incentive. — I have only shopped through them twice, but I attempt to complete a survey every single day. I usually qualify 1-3 times per week. The surveys last anywhere from 10 minutes to 30 minutes, depending on the topic. —…

This site does work, and it does pay you to read emails. However, you get paid about 3 cents per email read -- so don't quit your job. Also, you must have $30 in your "account" before they will send you a check, then they charge you $3 or so. It doesn't take up very much time, so why not, it still is easy…

an online survey taker, a busy person, a survey taker, looking to make money on the Internet
If you are looking to make money quick, this is probably not the site for you. However, I spend a minute or two everyday to click the paid e-mails. It does take a long time to get to the $30, but if you're not expecting to see quick results and can be patient, it could be worth the wait. There is another program almost identical to inbox dollars called send earnings, I do this one, too. Doesn't take much time and I usually request a check from both of them about the same time when my account gets to $33.00, so I get $30 after their $3 fee. I just recently…

I am currently using inboxdollars, and have not tried to cash out so I can't say anything about the issues people are having about that, except if having to wait a couple months for a $30 check is that much of a burden on you then you must be even poorer then I am. The surverys take a long time, so I just recieve the emails, and it only takes a few seconds to click through them, so I don't understand why people are making such a big deal out of being 'spammed.' How annoyed can you really be by a few extra lines of text in your inbox? This site isn't for impatient people or people who get…
