InSTEP Safari Double Jogging Stroller Review Summary

Active parents of toddlers require active toddler gear. Our reviewers recommend the InSTEP Safari Double Jogging Stroller just for this reason. Equipped with tube tires, like a bicycle, the InStep Double Jogger is described as “pushes like a dream” and “handles so smoothly.” One reviewer states “the wheels glide over the pavement plus you cannot feel the weight (of the children) you are pushing in front of you.” The wheels of the InStep Safari Double Jogger do need to be removed to fit in a vehicle, but our active parents claim this is easily accomplished. Reviewers definitely recommend getting the version with a front swivel wheel when purchasing the InStep Double Jogging Stroller. When it comes to size, the InStep Safari Double Jogger is “not too heavy” and fits most doorways. The kids don’t necessarily sit up straight, and do tend to lean toward each other, but most state their tots don’t mind. “This stroller has turned out to be our best baby product investment,” claims one satisfied InStep Double Jogging Stroller owner. I did a lot of on-line research before buying a side-by-side double stroller, and after I narrowed it down to the InStep and the Schwinn, I bought the InStep because nobody could tell me the difference (besides about $50) and the InStep cost less. We are very happy with this stroller. It pushes like a dream and the wheels really do come off very easily to fit it in our minivan. The cons are that the children lean towards each other as they ride (my kids don't mind it - the 9 month old sometimes rests his head on his sister's shoulder), and the straps seem a little cheap. It is very wide, so be... review »

This is, by far, my most favorite double stroller for my kids.  We tried the Eddie Bauer front and back stroller and WHAT A PAIN to maneuver that thing!  Granted, it folded up easier than this one, but it also was a roughter ride.  This stroller is awesome -- it really is TRULY easy to walk and jog with. I use it mostly for walking (not much of a jogger).  The big cushy wheels are awesome and it's great for off-roading too.  MUCH easier to push than most other strollers.  I love all the pockets it has and especially appreciate the cup holder/key clip on the handle as well as the extra strap/break...

Inexpensive Wonderful jogging/walking stroller that can be purchased for around $150. I was hesitant to buy the safari TT because it was so cheap, I thought that it probably wasn't a good stroller. I was wrong, I tested it in the store and purchased it right away.
The swivel weel makes it so easy to manouver, I even take it to the store sometimes. It has a huge basket underneath that holds everything we need to take along.
The stroller has lots of padding and my girls love it, they are very comfortable in it.
I wish it came with a parent cupholder and the canopy could be a little bigger.

This stroller has turned out to be our best baby product investment and (by far) less expensive than most other double strollers. We spent months debating between a side-by-side or an inline, ended up with this one because it seemed more versatile. We can take the kids shopping, walking or even over rough terrain in this stroller. I drive a small car (Focus) and this stroller easily slides in and out with some room to spare. We have been using this stroller since my youngest was a newborn (yes, it does work just fine for brand new babies.) The kids are now 2 and 3 and still fit in the stroller...

The swivel wheel makes it easy to maneuver and the width is narrow enough to fit through store aisles easily.  It also folds in one step and folds compactly enough to fit in the trunk of a sports sedan, which is unusual for a double side-by-side jogging stroller!  The seats recline independently and the basket underneath is rather large.  I used a BOB Revolution Duallie prior to this and this stroller is just as good, if not better just because of the impact on your wallet.

This is a great stroller for someone on a budget.  You can't beat the price.  It also steers very easily, and the front swivel wheel is a great feature.  The only complaint we have had is that the kids can't sit straight up.  Even in the most upright position the seats are a little reclined.  But it doesn't bother either of them.  It's not too heavy and fits through all doorways.  The sunshade is also a little small, but it works.  I really love this stroller.

I bought this stroller over 4 years ago right after my twins were born, and we still use it!!!  I love most everything about it, except I didn't get the swivel front wheel and should have, my mistake not the strollers.

I did alot of research and for the price and durability this product can't be beat!

The only negative I have is that lately the wheels deflate qucikly but again I have had it for 4 years so I probably have a hole or two in them.

i think it is a great thing. I would have my firends and family members buy this product. This would be great for two young children. This also would be great for a single parent. It could be a little smaller and not so big so that it wouldnt be so ocward to put in your vehical and other transportations. but the seats are too close together so that the children will tend to fight alot.

I've had this for 3 months and love it.  It is perfect for the zoo, mall, or going to the local park.  I love the storage below.  The only downside is the cost and width.  It can be hard to get this thru the normal door--which is real troublesome at the mall.

This is a great stroller.  I have loved having mine.  I have now owned it for about 2 1/2 years.  It is very easy to push and it handles so smoothly.  The only problem I have had is that it doesn't fit through every door way.

This is a great stroller.  The kids are comfortable in it, and it gives me the freedom to exercise in peace!  The only down side is the front wheel pulls to the left.  Overall, the stroller is a good value for the money.
