The Cord Cover Kit comes with four 36-inch cord covers, three couplings, and two each of inside, outside, and flat corners. Each cord cover is made of rigid, white PVC that is adhesive-backed and paintable. The couplings and corners snap on easily without tools, so everything is easy to install.
I had a light fixture with a cord running down to an outlet on the neighboring wall. The path went down one corner of a wall, to an inside corner, and straight to the outlet. Using a level, I marked my route with a light pencil, and then I simply placed my covers on the line, cutting to fit and adding a coupling when needed. Once everything was in place, I slipped my cord into the "open channel" design and plugged it in the outlet on the other end. Easy as pie!
With some leftover paint, I painted a few coats of the wall color onto the cord covers, and they virtually disappear into the background. Now, instead of having a noticeable cord running from my light fixture into the outlet, it's tucked away neatly and blends in with the rest of the décor.
Overall, I highly recommend the Cord Cover Kit by ImprovementsCatalog.com if you have any cords that need taming.
