Impatiens annual flowers —

I love to plant impatiens bedding plants in containers.  Three or four plants will grow and fill a moderately large pot.  This past year, I planted one in with some hanging basket begonias, and when the weather got colder, I brought it into the house.  It's still growing and blooming now in March.  It is now spreading out to about a foot in diameter.  I didn't realize until reading the other reviews that impatiens prefer shade.  I've grown them on my porch where they get quite a lot of sun for several years.  So I guess they're pretty flexible.  Enjoy them!
